Nuclear Escalation: Testing the Upgraded Southeastern City!

here is some feedback after playing for a moment.

the ItO-90M makes the gamemode unplayable, replace it with something similar to 2S6 like the ADATS, i don’t know why VT1 is even allowed to face the 9M311

1250m/s vs 910m/s is insane. also the G pull of VT1 is 50g while it doesn’t lose pull at range but 9M311 does. please just replace the ItO with the ADATS it’ll make the gamemode actually more balanced for Short range SPAA

i have been killed more by the ItO than actual players making it boring because i cant fight others without dying to SPAA.

Oh and staying low does not help, it tracks you through hills, trees and ground

Why can’t we get IR spaa that we can actually pre-flare to play against…

Like make convoys random, one will have IR spaa, another one will have radio-guided or something.

“But that would make the mode tooooo easy🥺”

Well, if they were randomly chosen, I would argue that this will make the mode more interesting. You could either choose which convoys to attack based on intel from others, or choose tactics on the fly.

i hope that this gets read because the ItO-90M right now is too overpowered and dominating this gamemode, I’ve seen countless people complain about ItO-90M

also to add onto this reply for my original feedback, the map size is smaller… making it basically easier for you to die to the ItO-90M in under a few minutes making you basically respawn so many times you cant even respawn if you only have a single plane

dont forget: being on the map is forbidden

Flying high is bad and you can be shot by enemy’s long range spaa.

Which is normal thing, why?

Always love to see map upgrades, this one was badly needed!

Might as well do it now lmao

Top tier SAM + other mobile semi-omniscient jumpscare SPAA + small ish map area = chaos

Either you’ve never played against an S-300 ever and should consider trying nuclear thunder once, or you have a very, very interesting definition of “flying high”…

You are right, I have only Su-25 and Yak-28B.

Anyway, I would assume that smaller map is a bad map for toptier stuff that can literally engage with 100km distances.

For scale, an S-300 can do this with ease on the existing map, and they’ve just added a map with half the dimensions.

That’s 75km. I have died on takeoff and landing at that distance.

Yeah, I feel like they will restrict this map up to 12.7 or something.

I don’t think any bracket with SAMs present (any existing brackets whatsoever) should see this map at all. Alternatively, gaijin can expand the map as someone above pointed out.

ADATS would be infinitely worse as it is fully optical and does not warn of launches. You do not want ADATS.

nah samp/t, ito 90, spyder, otomatic vs pantsir s1, buk m3, fk 2000, hq 11
is like dying ant vs nuclear bomb
the sad thing is pantsir s1 i better then any sam system nato have(not including patriot or whatever it have)

i would genuinely rather want ADATS instead of the ItO, some planes have MAW which i mostly play

i think if gaijin would add iron dome only for this game mode as sam it will be perfect for intercepting bombs rockets and the kh 38 mt

there isnt anything close to the 2S6 other than the ADATS in the game, i dont know why were comparing 2S6 to ItO in the gamemode, it feels unfair.

VT1:

  • 1250m/s (Mach 3.5-3.6)
  • 50G Pull that doesn’t lose pull at range
  • 11km range max
  • 8 meter proxy range

9M311:

  • 910m/s (Mach 2.5-2.6)
  • 32G pull that actually loses pull at range.
  • 8km range
  • 5 meter proxy range

9M311-M1:

  • 910m/s (Mach 2.5-2.6)
  • 32G pull that actually loses pull at range.
  • 10km range
  • 5 meter proxy range

how is this a fair comparison?

Can’t create a new ASB map in 4+ years. But can make 2x NE maps rapidly…

Definetly know where their priorities are
