Does anyone know a US anti-radiation missile that can track J-band that is 11.0 BR or lower?
I’m testing Nuclear Escalation and the ZSU-23-4V is the primary close-range AA and it seems like there aren’t any ARM that can track its J-band radar, essentially making the addition of Shrikes useless against these.

They can track other AA’s like
S75 (P-12 radar) - G band
SNR-75 radar - G band
Osa AKM - H band
… I still need to test more npc AA types.
Looks like we’re stuck throwing Mavericks at the ZSU-23’s which are so slow and get shot down 80% of the time
Kind of a US industrial issue, no AGM-45 seeker goes above I band so it’s not a gaijin problem
I don’t think shilkas were a big problem in Vietnam and these were mainly used against S-75 and Vietnamese radars. Also irl the AGM-45 sucked and the AGM-78 kind of replaced it later on
I haven’t played the new nuclear escalation but if they haven’t they should add the AGM-78. It had broadband almost for the beginning with the 78B in 1969 and many more improvements as it continued. Gaijin probably won’t add it because it is superior to Russian tech and that just can’t be
Right, and I guess that’s where I start having issues for Nuke Esc mode… the primary AA you see is the ZSU-23 and yet our ARM can’t track it.
The TV mavericks are so close-range you’re already shot down by the time the TV seeker can lock (issue with moving targets).

the low Hit rates where a result of literally firing shrikes at inactive SAM sites to keep them supressed every 15-30s
Infact, the AGM-45 actually outlived the AGM-78 as the AGM-45 was still used widely in desert storm thanks to its low cost
Agm 122 are J band but only on harriers
And none of the harriers with the sidearm are 11.0 or below.
the M163 doesn’t even have a search radar for Russia to lock with their ARMs yet the shilka’s J band is the problem?
If you’re mad about that, are you the problem?
Because shilka irl wasnt THAT cracked. If it was, planes would fly with shilka turret, tanks would drive with shilka turret, hell, even infantry would walk with shilka turret.
