I would LOVE to see this.
The gamemode where helis and aircraft were in the same game was such a fun challenge. This option would be interesting to try out at least.
Right and it’s a positive feedback loop that I think is the main issue with NT right now. This is how the games play out in my experience:
Game starts.
Reds launch an opening salvo of Kh-31s from their runways at Blue SAMP/T sites.
None of the Kh-31s are intercepted.
Blue SAM sites get weakened then further obliterated with literally zero effort from Reds because Kh-31.
Reds can now fly at 10km over the entire map, including even deep into Blue turf, and wreck Blue players from above.
The disparity in SEAD capability between Reds and Blues is massive. All AGM-88Cs are good for is poking at 2S6s and Pantsirs on the frontline, forget about destroying a BUK site or a Nebo radar with them. Meanwhile Kh-31 users can just pick a target they want gone, even if it’s an AA site all the way at the Blue main base. Either limit Kh-31s or give Blues something better like the AGM-88G and other modern HARM variants, perhaps accessible only in the NT mode to not break Ground Battles.
Exactly what edge are Blues supposed to have? Because it’s not anti-air stations, SEAD weapons or PvP.
Then I assume you’ve been playing in a squad with multiple people and voice chat to organize better, which just isn’t representative of the average WT experience. You can’t really expect people to make coordinated attacks on AA sites to overwhelm them in random lobbies, and expecting that from players will just lead to frustration like we have right now.

I’ll take it but that’s not what the problem is. It’s that BUKs create a literal exclusion zone over the entire Red turf and high-altitude Blue turf.
This is great. The frontline should be more fluid. Right now it barely moves, except sometimes when one side captures a depot briefly before being pushed back. Seeing the frontline shift as one side captures the enemy airfield near the coast while the other side makes a push near the mountains would make the games more dynamic and unique. Perhaps teams could capture airfields by nuking then landing at them.
^^^ Prime example of why Ai units should NOT respawn where they die this just looks silly after its been Nuked…also once an area gets Nuked :/ nothing should go back there to be Honest.
Not true. Just reduce the amount of them. It’s ridiculous how many there are. Or at least downgrade most of them. There only exists 27 ITO-90Ms in the world. There should still be gepards and shilkas around, just as today. Just because it’s modern tier doesn’t mean jets can take on 5+ ITOs instead of 5+ gepards.
They also respawn from convoys don’t they?
Getting 1 SPAA kill right now with AGMs is a miracle, when they intercept with a better rate than players. Let alone multiple of them shooting at once.
And not everyone is going to do teamwork. Most players don’t. You should be able to at least do something solo, only thrive if there is good teamwork.
Also the rewards are bad for how hard SPAAs are to take on.
For combined battles? As in ground? Hopefully something good.
You may should read my whole idea. It is not only limited, historical accurate acess, but also kind of a scenario rotation with weekly or monthly cycles so that every nation in one point gets to play the event. The whole point is to get some vareity in it to keep interest in the mode. I never meant to forbid own jets, but some more jets could be playable if you don’t have any at the BR for this nation.
The Red vs Blue still isn’t really balanced in this way. If you want this, you need something like all vs all, but this would be extremly shitty in my opinion.
the amount of great suggestions in here is overwhelming, if they don’t take atleast some of it that’ll be the funniest shi ever, + i’ll just quit the game because theres nothing to play anymore lol
If anyone wants a large-scale ground version of this, check out my suggestion I posted back in 2024. Very similar mechanics to NE. I updated it to make some of the ideas clearer and more concise.
To be fair i don’t really like NE mode because it’s so damn buggy.
EVERYWHERE.
The lag and the bugs and the overtuned SAMs …every SAM is overtuned …all of them combined. Nah , i’ll stop playing it till i’m sure they’ll fix it.
It’s garbage.
Not to mention the first tuning they had to do is fix the BR range.
I played today and it really felt like a waste of time.
Today it fked me up with bugs and lag. It was disgusting pure puke.
Can we make radar blindspots? Pretty dumb that I can lob glide bombs from 7km up at 120 seconds till impact so they’re coming STRAIGHT down and the S26 is immediately sniping every single one.
Also, would be great if TGPs could lock past 30km. Sucks when you’re trying to target vehicles and you can physically see them but can’t do an area lock and since they aren’t visible on the map, you can’t actually engage them.
Thanks for clarification about the modes purpose and goal. Also I understand that it’s easier to balance the mode with a small br range, but I’m a bit sad that I can’t try the new changes and features and maybe five feedback on it. I would personally be excited the most about the larger br range, do I could try the mode, or the helicopter dynamic which could help it to, but would also be a big change with more airfields and so on.
