Okay, I know my gameplay in M1 is better than a 2A4. And I play them both more or less the same.

I much prefer the M1 over the 2A4 it especially helps as well that the lineup is better

Slightly buffing other tanks shouldn’t be OP, so why don’t we do that quickly ?

you dont get it. gaijin is evil and balances things based off of “sense” and “logic” and “balance”. what they should do is what I think is best and what my gut feeling says

Actually I think you will find you perform better in the TT M1 Abrams (1.18) compared to the TT 2A4 (0.89).
You also perform better in the Prem M1 (1.4) compared to the Prem 2A4 (1.3).
If you want to base it off of kills per battle instead of kills per death the gap widens even further.

The cv does get spall liners and better mobility tbh
I don’t see it’s gen1 thermal as a con, considering most 10.7 MBTs have that as well. Main cons are the lack of blowout panels and subpar armor.
Ariete (P) already has DM33 which is a pretty big upgrade over DM23, that round is better than 3BM42 and L26.

Again, that’s because of aforementioned use of M1s as back-ups in 11.3 against light tanks and SPAAs after enemy has expended main battle tanks.

No, because I know it’s already a pretty good vehicle for it’s BR and doesn’t need any help. Same goes for M1.
All we can discern from this image is that you have placed the M1 within a line-up to take a screenshot, and that your M1s have superior statistics despite being allegedly brought into significant uptiers.

Also, sorry to make it oh so clear to you that I’m comparing apples to apples, at the 10.7 region. And again:

Either it becomes MASSIVELY OP with M833 (which I highly doubt), then it can be moved up to 11.0, as you worry.
Or, it’ll lighten the load for players of the M1. Which is my goal.

Yes we do not agree that tanks should receive unnecessary buffs when they are already performing well. Gaijin evidently agrees since they have stipulated in bug reports on this matter that shell selection is a tool of balance and M833 would be added if the developers saw a need to do so. It has to this date, not been added. I suspect it will not be added in the near future either given the statistics we have available.

There have been people who enjoy the tank who have expressed that they do not wish it to receive unnecessary buffs as they do not want it to quite likely move up in BR if it does, yes. I find this a very reasonable argument given that 10.7 US has a few vehicles to build a line-up around instead of being moved up to 11.0 which can see 12.0.
