This post is about air sim top tier [14.3 - 14.7] .
We all know How the missile counter missile feature killed top tier sim for the past months, now with the exclusion of air sim from the new system that rewards for maneuver kills and intentional J outs.
Top tier has become more toxic . and people will just J out of they can’t MCM .
One easy fix , is to include top tier in the next maneuver kill update and nerf MCM at least for air sim.
if RB players don’t find it an issue , it doesn’t mean that it’s not an issue.
we are trying to find solutions here , if we give up the devs won’t give us attention . the assumption that some people will abuse it is another day’s problem , and I doubt it will damage top tier sim as the MCM and J out are doing rn .
i assume MCM means shoot missiles at incoming missiles? i think that is an ok meta
whats not ok is the players who j out or crash on purpose to deny a kill. it happens so often in sim, right before you splash a missile they hit the eject button out of pure spite because their rwr is howling like a banshee and they know whats about to happen
also side note and edit: the reward system should be changed in sim mode. you can get good rp from it if you play an entire match start to finish but i think you should be rewarded not on an actions basis but per kill or target destroyed/hits. then again im not saying we should be able to farm up an entire tree from a few games either
I mean there are a couple missiles IRL that supposedly have the ability. But none of them are in game. Just as an example, on the EF2K, the RWR is supposed to be able to use RWR contacts to launch missiles, specifically the IRIS-T. So it could in theory launch a missile at an incoming ARH missile on its RWR, although there is not (public) information on if this actually works, and if it does, how effective it is. If that capability has even been used in the first place, that is.
It happens a good bit in ARB as well but not as often as in sim. Hopefully it becomes widespread enough there that Gaijin is actually forced to do something about it. And then hope they actually implement that in sim as well. cough cough J out reward mechanic cough cough

Is like saying: I am able to build a spaceship in my backyard and fly to the moon. Yes you are, technically, yes, people have tried that, yes there’s some weird guys that claimed to have done that, there’s even some non-weird ones. Now, how probable is that? Is there any records of people reaching outerspace? No.
