Not wasting my time with the F-15C "Golden Eagle"

Mate, you didn’t prove anything we just tested it independently. Its only .06 Mach too fast and that’s not a big deal IMO.

Just checked the other f16 out u mentioned.

No HMD at 13.7… the game gets worse the more you learn. So it has more CMs than the f16s at 13.3 but that doesn’t usually warrant a BR difference (netz mod 3 x the cms than the netz same BR). Am I missing something? Or is the game really just straight up slop

The f16 with 45CMs also has no HMD, just lol

I stand corrected. F16C actually now somehow looking good

yes I did, you were blatantly wrong

the top comment here was about F-15EX

like wtf, how can you be crazy enough to deny that you were wrong here

Its also charts for 2 different types of CFT

-3 and -4

FAST packs and CFT variants are different and have different drag indexs.

yes, hence why the charts I used to disprove you were using the same kind of CFT as the ones you were referencing

Netz mod gets the premium privilege

Gaijin just don’t add drag to suspended armaments and they need to.
Using weight and an percentile decrease in performance does not put these jets that choose to carry 14+ missiles at any disadvantage. They should be slower, they should burn fuel at a higher rate.

Not to mention they should all turn like bricks.

The F-16A charts used to make its FM in game have it sustaining 18 degrees a second when clean.

Put pylons on it that turn rate drops significantly.

What I came to realize recently is that some aircraft are at an unfair disadvantage due to the charts available for them (AV-8B charts have a drag index of 40 compared to 0 on the F-16)

Checks F-15 thread.

Malding about F-16 and Harrier.

Yep…just another day.

Wow so the Harrier 2 charts are from flights with Pylons?
But the F-16 is a completely clean airframe?

6 pylons inflight refueling probe and 4 missiles plus gun pack with LIDS strakes

Vs F-16A with the clean wingtip pylons.

The pylons on harrier 2 all together also weight over 2000 lbs

It’s similar with planes like F-15 as well its performance is taken off of clean charts.

Otherwise it looks like this.

This is for the F-15E with its missiles and the CFT that has 3 pylons on it for a total of 6.

If it was based on a non-clean profile in game it would be anemic trash.

I have often wondered how an F-15C or E was near matching Typhoon in near climb rate and acceleration.

Every day is a school day.

Yeah it doesn’t nor can it super cruise with any weapons. At low level a sea harrier should match its climb to 24,000 or so

Typhoon is in another league altogether

hes using charts for F15E with a very heavy loadout and the worse engines

if anything typhoon would be more affected if they introduce pylon drag

stop lying

you are deliberately using the wrong charts again

the F-15E with -229 engines (the one we have in game) can supercruse with a drag index of 45-50
while a lodaout of 8 amraams (including the pylons and launchers) has a drag index of~25

It’s just these tanks mate

Yes super cruise at 1.05 with a drag index of just 20

Meanwhile typhoon can do like 1.3 or more with a full weapons loadout.

1.02 is hardly supercruise

Also 25 doesn’t sound correct for a full missile kit show the index table.

If they add drag, Typhoon would experience changes however like the F-15 they use recessed pylons to reduce drag.

Typhoons engine power and raw performance would also see an improvement over F-15 and Su-27/30/35 as the induced drag on a Su-35 carrying 14 missiles and an F-15 carrying 12-16 missiles would also be huge.

Don’t say that you might upset the eagle glazer.

IT CAN SUPER CRUISE its blistering at 1.02 Mach with some weapons on it. That also being the eagle with the most powerful engines on it.

It’s impressive how obsessed a person can be over 1 vehicle.

interesting tho if I was that obsessed with a single vehicle I would at least try to get lights out performance and stats in said vehicle.
