Not wasting my time with the F-15C "Golden Eagle"

And those same Golden Eagles are still flying, with the same moniker and more upgrades. And will continue doing so into the 2030s now. It is not a static production standard.

You’re not wrong. I’m not saying I don’t want it to get more missiles, I’m simply stating how Gaijin looks at these issues.

And that doesn’t change them being wrong

Yeah well until they get sent a photo of a f15c with markings and MRML pylons/Amber racks they wont believe it.

true but for some reason warthunder devs are rather touchy with changing missile stats no mater how wrong they are.

so do you just post without reading anything prior?

lil bro show be a picture of the su30sm or the su27sm with duel underbelly racks(you won’t only su35s carries them). you should be aware that they add something IF it COULD carry it, not necessarily if it did, ofc you’d know this if you had read the thread.

I stated in my previous reply that they gave the 27sm dual racks since it was created prior to the 27sm, that’s why they didn’t require explicit proof of the 27sm carrying it. The reason this rule doesn’t apply to the GE is because both the MRML and Amber racks were created after the “GE” upgrade. That’s why they want explicit proof of the GE carrying them but not the 27sm.

I’m not saying it’s right, in fact I believe it’s wrong, but I’ve simply been stating how Gaijin reasons their decisions. They are not my personal beliefs.

Or, they could adjust the pylons configuration on the 27sm to be the same as the Su27SM3 (same Number of missiles, but in an actual plausibile way)

i dont know why people keep buying these made up and imaginary reason for why things happen in this game, the SM got dual racks because the devs though it would need them to be competitive thats the real and only reason, and the f15 GE didnt get them because the devs believed it wouldn’t need them.

No they weren’t. They were first shown off in 2005 and su-27sm first entered service in 2003. You might be confusing the 90s su-35 with the 2000s su-35, 90s su-35 had no dual racks

The SM in game is already partly a SM3 no? So this would make sense

no, the sm3 have a small upgraded radar with the possiblty to use R77-1 and other weapons with the extra pylon, the problem is we have no proof the dual rack r77 on the sm itself but we have proof that it does exist and it is used on both r77 and r77-1, people may be confuse that its different but its not, exemple: if we take a fab-1500 pylon, its still the same pylon as the fab-1500 tv

Oh alright then, would it be interesting to add the SM3 tho?

yeah but its more important to add the migs first, the sm3 will bring nothing but a sm 13.7 perf to 14.0 with 10 r77-1, but you might be limited due to the radar, idk much of it tho

More weight, 2 wing pylons and R-77-1s, basically not unless its a seperate vehicle imo.

not a big wieght difference to matter or hurt the perfomance

2005? I only remember first seeing it on an expo Su-35S at MAKS-2017? And they only appeared in service in 2022 on an Su-35S deployed to Belarus?

i mean in brochure/mentioned. First time i saw it mentioned was from a 2005 magazine. first time it was shown off was like in 2017 yeah
