Nobody talking about gaijin taking 2 Years to fix the game and delaying the road map?

How are you ok with that? First stona lied to use telling that mixed battles would be a small part of the games, now they are the major and tbh historical battles don’t even matter at all when every single nation owns Sherman’s and Tigers, p51s, p47 and BF109.

So the snail first killed the immersion, then economy Nerfs and the most important thing from the road map that were the nation bonus and different br for aircraft and thanks were not implemented at all, they basically just reduced the br of the A7D/E and call that a change rofl, while many other bomber and attack aircraft struggle.

Why is the game so outdated? Why can’t we have nice things? The reason is gaijin only concerned with sales and taking the money of the game and put somewhere, why can’t we have more cammos? More decals? Why can’t we have more nations? Like a South American tech tree with cool long requested vehicles such as the Tucano, Pucara there are so many modern prop fighters but gaijin simply doesn’t care enough to give more variations to the game, despite of this they will invest on ships nobody asked for.

Why can’t we have more ifv vehicles, more spgs, more bombers like Vulcan, B1 imagine how cool the game would be when you join a mission instead of stupid tdm we could escort a group of B1 lancer or attack them? Imagine if the bases of war thunder were actual bases with helis, aircraft landing and infantry? Why can’t we have satellite artillery or request airstrikes where you could actually see a squad of A10 straffing a position? No we can’t have nice things. The game is pretty much the same and the so called road map is getting delayed for years and nobody say a dime.

Because no on who has been around the game for long is surprised at all.
I’m no Snail fanboie, but…
Gaijin is in the position of being the market incumbent. So while that is nice. It also means they have to be careful because anything they do or change will make some segment of their customers unhappy. That is why you see them mostly just add new vehicles and game effects like the dozer blades or napalm. Minor things that they get to crow about, but don’t really piss any one off.
Gaijin also only has limited resources, and its a poor business practice to release every product and every finished feature, in a biz that uses phased and staggered introduction to drive user engagement and sales revenue.
Same goes with economy changes, any changes to a complex rube goldberg system like Gaijin has evolved over the decade will have effects even they probably can’t predict.
Anyway, you asked. And that is what I think is why…

Question is who is the dog? Gaijin? Or the Playerbase?

The only thing that was delayed was the RP bonus.

The roadmaps are the best thing to happen to the game in the past few years. Repair costs are essentially a non-issue now, they have attempted some decompression, and there are constant bug fixes and minor improvements.

Yeah, it only took the playerbase rebelling against them to get them to do it.

…if you have paid for premium.

I see this as the future of war thunder, some may not however.

Not really. They are so much cheaper in ground, and even the most expensive planes aren’t that expensive compared to what they were before.

Because we’re getting communication from the developers and consistent updates.

The economy both for SL and RP is in the best state it has ever been in. If you want an even more reduced grind then that is an understandable opinion but comparing the current economy to prior years is inane.

Rewards at one point for SL were higher, but the repair costs of some vehicles was 50,000+ SL. That is not sustainable play, which is what I want and is what the community voted for. The ability to play your vehicles without worrying about repair costs. Gaijin has provided this twice over, now with the dynamic repair cost system being implemented even F2P players can play high tier without worrying about repair costs.

If you want to finish research now and you have the money, use your saved up bonus RP you can quite literally buy an entire tree for ~$500, that’s only the price of ~8 high tier premiums.

If you want accelerated research, buy premium and a premium vehicle. It’s $35 for a year of premium on sale and $35 for a premium high tier vehicle on sale, both well under the costs of a full priced Triple A title.
