you know that turret basket and autoloader are different part, right?
turret basket is not entire horizontal drive system it protected the crew’s limbs from get eating by turret
it exists in every tank otherwise you can say bye bye to your hand
Russian tanks also have Turret basket as well

Dont worry they will force it on that too

That was literally a necessity since there was no mechanism to ever make you stop reloading or impact your reload time, period.

Internal darts that didn’t damage the automated or kill you, did nothing. Internal darts on nato is a permanent reduction to reload time if crew is hit. Unless you make it to cap and crew load. Unlike nato tanks which could lose a crew member and not hit the gun and lose their current reload and then wait for crew member to switch and then restart with the slower reload.

Now, correct me if I’m wrong, we’re back to a mechanism that affects nato tanks. On top of the hydraulics which affects some more than others(Abrams incorrectly placed hydraulic pump).

and their turret basket is connected to turret ring
unlike NATO tanks
the above setence tells you where they get their “sources” from

I think the addition of autoloader module was a good idea, but I think NATO tanks were compensated for this issue:

by the fact that they all load quicker than Eastern counterparts… some by quite a margin.

Only if you have an expert and ace crew, and so long as you never lose a crew member. As I said.

Fair trade in my book.

Eastern MBTs probably work better with players who only have bad crews and can’t afford to expert / play enough or pay to get Ace.

NATO MBTs are far superior in the long-run, though.

If I’m not mistaken that’s exactly what I just said. So idk what you’re disagreeing with.

We’ve now added ANOTHER module to affect nato tanks upending this balance.

It turns independently to one another dude…

thanks to @luque13

it for example of Leopard 2
I’m not saying it won’t affect if basket was damage i said that basket it wasn’t entire horizontal drive part of it still does yes like you see on pic the lower part of it has some hydraulic system

And they’ll have almost the same effect in the game.

sources?

Well, I think it’s fair in that aspect, but I believe NATO MBTs are generally superior to Eastern MBTs (as of yet).

They all have major upsides over Eastern MBTs that heavily favours them.
Only a certain few (like the Chally / Ariete) are generally worse-off than Eastern MBTs.

If this change gets added to every Top Tier vehicle, I think it would negatively affect NATO MBTs more so than Eastern MBTs… and that’s fine.
NATO MBTs generally need a nerf, or Eastern MBTs generally need a buff, at least at the moment.

Whether it be relatively small changes, like adding turret baskets as ‘horizontal drives’ for all Top Tier MBTs, or by increasing the BRs of most NATO MBTs by around 0.3 (excluding the crappiest ones since they don’t deserve it).

For the 11.3, 11.7, and 12.0 Abrams in particular, they should add the turret basket (like for every other MBT), buff their turret rings, and then increase their BRs by 0.3.

The 2A7V / 122s can go to 12.3, and the TKX / Tyoe 10 can go to 12.3 too.

i agree already

WHAT?! What sources do you want? FOr obvious things where the carrousel rotates independently of the turret otherwise the crew and the turret itself would be like a washing machine the whole operation of the tank. GIve me a source that it isnt like that?

Your turn to counter this, cant wait for a reply

same? how it the same it the different mechanism
one work as loading system
other work as protect the turret crew limbs from get eating (sure part of it still contain hydraulic system but not entire basket is turret drive system) look at pic i already post you see what i mean

He’s saying that in-game, both would just act as spall removers.
Just that the difference would be that the turret basket would only affect turret rotation instead of the ability to reload.
