Did France ever use the AZUR kit for the S.2 or SXXI (not including any components for the XLR)?
There are multiple versions, the one in your pic is supposed to be the 125 one.

No they did not. However, the Leclerc AZUR presented as a demonstrator was a Leclerc S2 tranche 6 which was most certainly in French service at the time. Based on available information, AZUR was only ever mounted on the aforementioned S2 tranche 6, Emirati Leclerc tropicalisé tranche 6-2s, XLRs, and also on the Leclerc tropicalisé modernisé demonstrator presented at Eurosatory 2016 and IDEX 2017.
