Oh and to go past that, if we can’t have the Br rework then the Mk.21 at 6.0-6.7

Spitfire Mk 21 Performance Testing

just a bit of armor, like another tank worth of armor

Yea still unclear why this is still not added.
Halt the top tier power creep
Add interesting mid tier vehicles … plz

russia and their weird projects

Object 184 prototype when?

Honestly though, with the T-90M '188M, once other countries catch up and a roof has been reached, prototype next-gen tanks might be possible. We already have the Challenger 3, so maybe vehicles such as the Leopard 2A8 or M1A2 SEPv4 program. There’s already tons of prototypes, and seeing as multiple SEPv4s and Leopard 2A8s exist… It may be interesting.

Doesn’t the 2S35 Koalitsiya-SV also have a feature like this now? The two blocks on the front seem to be doppler radars.

If they add it

Hell lets make it Griffon Spitfire day, another spit that would be awesome to see would be the Supermarine Valiant (Mk.23) Prototype also known as Spitfire F21 prototype PP139. This was a Supermarine Spitfire Mk.18 fitted with an improved wing designed with a laminar flow design and longer wingtips, which, redesigned compared to that of the Mk.22/24 incorporated a return to more elliptical style wing.

Prototype Spitfire F21 PP139

Engine stats were identical to the Mk.18 but the potential for an increased PSI out of the Griffon 61. Documents surrounding its speed show it reached 740Km/h at 22,000 metres. It would have a stronger armament than the Mk.18 and potentially a better turn time (I must research this).

Yea, the two doppler radars on both sides of the gun track the projectile fired by the gun along its entire flight path and checks for any deviation by wind or other factors and feeds data into the unified command-and-control system to make adjustments for subsequent rounds.

But its not entirely new.
Pzh 2000 also features a phased array radar on the turret front for measuring the muzzle velocity of each round fired.
And even Chinese PLZ-45 and PLZ-05 have initial velocity measuring radars.

APS systems intercepting top tier darts is a slippery slope in terms of balance.

There are soo many Russian top tier MBT potential!

Object 219M (better than T-80BVM), Object 187 (better than T-90A), T-72B2 Rogatka (better than T-72B3)
and many more … like T-80UM-1 obr.1997g.“Bars”, T-72M1M, T-72B3 with Arena APS, Object 292 …

and that’s not even touching Burlak prototypes, Object 640, Object 195, Object 477 etc …

See? Soooo many potential!

No need to add other nation’s MBT into the USSR tree! (like the current Slovak Moderna … or any future T-84s or Oplots) … coz you can’t fit all of them in the tree efficiently …

I don’t see half of those even making the research tree, event potential though, maybe even a premium or two

Uhhhhh…the Black Knight already can do that

After some reading, it’s a feature not fully achieved by the strikeshield but they have demonstrated it’s a feat that can be done.

Agava-2, full coverage Arena-M, 4S23… It’s a beauty. I personally hate the T-80BVM for many reasons, and this is something I’d love to see.

A little confused on this one, as the '184 is the T-72B '85.

Would be interesting to see a 184A (T-72BA), as that’s effectively a 1996-1998 upgrade of the T-72B '90.

T-72BA^

Would be great, it’s essentially a T-72BA put to T-90 standards with an LWS and such.

T-72B2 lacking thermal cover^

I’d much rather wait for a T-72B3 with Arena-3 or the upcoming T-90M with Arena, seeing as this is a T-80U with arguably less armor and is much more exposed.

The T-72 has been built and tested, and is reported to have been applied to some T-72s, though none have been seen in combat. The T-90 is still in its development phase for a variant with APS.

I personally see no reason for this, as this is just the aforementioned T-72B2, though it lacks certain systems and is built off of the chassis and turret of the '172, not the '184.

WOOOO YEAHHHHHHH ARENA-3 MY BELOVED WOOOOO

This would be great for an update consisting of the worlds heavy hitters, ranging from the Leclerc, Leopard, to Abrams. I would love to see a stylized update where it’s just 130mm - 152mm cannons on modern tanks.

Ah, the bigfoot of Soviet / Russian tanks.
image
This would be amazing to see as an offshoot to the T-80 line. Whether it be from an event, or simply another line of TT vehicles.

image
This is effectively the same as what I said about a '148 prototype. this time, instead of a heavily simplified Armata, it’s a huge fucking gun on a simplified Armata.

Another bigfoot-esque tank!

At that point, I’d say you can make entirely new trees out of other nations. Ukraine has had an expansive military history in the last 30 years… Some notable, some better off in the dark… But they’ve made insane progress in the world of modern arms and have what are arguably some of the best vehicles of their classes.
Slovakia? Not too sure about them.
