Next patch and beyond wishlist(Everything except Tech Trees) (Part 1)

The last thing the Soviet tree needs is copy paste of other vehicles. Suggesting those is as delirious as the guys who want a US T-90 because they’ve got captured ones from Ukraine.

It’s the last thing any nation needs, but we all know these style of vehicles are going to continue to come anyway.

Even Gaijin make copy paste things only to make-up the defect of some tech trees. Like T-90 for British. When there is 2S3, no m109 needed.

The turret was produced, and the chassis was also produced.

yea … USSR doesn’t need copy-paste vehicles (unless captured during WW2)
there are loads … and I mean LOADS of unique Soviet and Russian vehicles & prototypes still left to be added in every tier … starting from T-43 & Su-101 to Object 277 & 2S15 Norov to Object 187 & T-72B2 Rogatka etc
So yea, no copy-paste … as well as no more Czech/Slovakian or Polish or post-Soviet Ukrainian vehicles in USSR tech tree please.

Republic-Fairchild XF-15

The twin engined F-16?

Agree with the first half, disagree with the second.

The Soviet tree should be represented by it’s successor states, Ukraine being one of them. However, current world events prevent that and I doubt we’ll see any Ukrainian mods anytime soon.

Regarding T-72 mods, I’m not sure. Germany got their Canadian Leo 1 MEXAS despite other Canadian vehicles with the UK or US, the US got the Aussie M1, despite other Aussie stuff in the British tree, but then the Brits got the T-90 Bhishma. Unless the T-72 mod is in it’s own tree, it should realistically go to the Soviets. Look at the T-72M2 for example.

Look at the T-72M2 for example.

yea, that’s what I am referring to. Instead of the Slovak Moderna … some other Soviet T-72 mod would’ve sufficed during that time … like the cool T-72M1M.
There are numerous Soviet mods still left to be added.
If you fill it up with other countries’ mods where will you add the cool Soviet ones? How bloated & cluttered you want the tree to look, then?
Instead, why not make another tree? Based on Yugoslavia? Or Visegrad. And add the non-Soviet mods there. Add sub trees there even.
Much cleaner and intuitive. And better than cramming every little mod under a single tree.

should be represented

what should be has long been abandoned in WT, after Merkavas in US and T-90 in UK.
USSR tree doesn’t need all the world nations’ T-64/T-72/T-80 mods.

There are soo many unique Soviet and Russian vehicles & prototypes still left to be added.
Add those first.

There’s plenty more Soviet/Russian/other successor state mods available, I’m fully aware of that.

However, in the case of a tank Gaijin add for a nation that doesn’t have a tree, where does it go? M60 AMBT or T-72 TURMS etc.

The USSR tree should encompass it’s successor states. In the case of a nation getting it’s own tree, then the tanks can go there.

Highly depends on the country in question and whether they have independent potential or not.
T-72AV is a very sensible addition for USSR whereas the AMBT makes sense for USA, but there can also be arguments made that something non-Turkish should’ve been added due to said potential.

Personally I’d love to see vehicles from ‘minor’ nations if you will, especially those of the Arab world.
They have been poorly represented despite their influence and military histories and I don’t believe they will be getting trees, but things such as Jung Jungental would be awesome in German tree for example.

I would love to see them all together in the game, the F-16 and its kids ))))

Yea more f-16s will never be a bad thing in my eyes (as long as they are balanced)

Makes you realize how small the FA-50 is

Totally depends on Gaijin’s internal roadmap (which changes a lot, as has been seen)

Merkavas & Magach were given to US. Not 1 or 2 … but 4! Only to get a proper Israeli TT later.
Same happened with UK’s Swedish Strv and the Chinese vehicles in US & USSR tree.
And recently UK got the T-90 Bhishma as well.

I’ve been seeing multiple suggestions recently for a Polish TT in WT. On the other hand, Gaijin already added Leopard 2PL to Germany. (The Indonesian Leopard 2RI could’ve been a better candidate for that now, don’t it?)

So … what I ask is, instead of doing a T-72M2 Moderna again for USSR i.e adding a Soviet vehicle mod from a nation with a tree/sub-tree potential, instead add from minor nations, as @Mahiwew states. Like the T-72AV TURMS-T.
In simpler terms: don’t add Slovenian M-55S or Polish PT-91 or Czech T-72M4CZ etc to USSR in future, instead add Iraqi T-55 Enigma or Belarusian T-72BM2.

The F4U-5 Corsair. It would be fairly easy to implement, given that we already have the airframe mostly modeled ( On the AU-1 and F4U-7). All it needs is the correct power curve and engine overheat temps.

Gaijin “uses” the swedish trials for the basis of their armor values, but also ignore protection angles pointed out in said trails.
