I know that the Brand APDS was a thing, but it was for the L/36 Fieldgun. The gun mounted to your proposed vehicle and SAU 40 however is a gun with shorter barrle and lower velocity. Was it even tested on such? And the HEAT, a copy of a Swiss round, with no photos. Is there even enough info on it then?
And the “so successful” yeah, because the UK/US used so many HEAT shells and so early on. Not. And those they did field were relatively normal for the time frame.
Not to mention the APDS, which was further developed, but also only saw service far later on. Did he help? Yes. Was that something super good ahead of its time stuff? No. One can call it a Wunderwaffe. More shine than actual effect.

Thier was apparently rare 75mm field guns made by france one was called Canon de 75mm L/53 TAZ Mle1939 other has a weird name looks similar, they shoot 75mm apds and heat in the 40s and helped with testing, it didnt say in the data which gun it was the 75mm apx or 1897 field gun, but i belive it was this one because the reason it was classified was because the 75mm gun which wasn’t said in the doc was able to pen a panthers front plate at 600m with a 700ms shell which this gun apparently shoot at (700ms) so france was doing some work before they collapsed rip, found out that the original gun mount used the 1897 field gun barrel before switching to this one

Both new 75mms guns were supposed to replace the 1897 field guns and 47mm AT mounts, both new 75mm would also be able to shoot HE, HETF for aa roles

Also the renault g1 had explored options to use the l/53 75mm instead of the l/32 for a higher velocity, which would give with greater penn for the apds and apcr, though it wouldn’t matter which 75mm french gun you chose because they all tested apds and heat from the 1897 field gun, apx cannon, up to the
Canon de 75mm L/53 TAZ Mle"1939" if renault g1 was added i would love to see it get heat or apds let alone the high velocity L/53 75mm gun

It was a marked improvement, however, it went up against the same firms La-5 which proved to be better still.

I very much wish they would simply fix naval gunnery aiming. If we are supposed to aim directly at the target and let the gunners calculate lead, then make it work. If we are supposed to calculate our own lead, then make it work. I’m tired of having to aim in a different ocean to get hits on the target in front of me.
