of which is named the F-15EX, if added it would most likely have a Florida skin ANG skin or something, we already have 2 Oregon air national guard skins as base aircraft skins, unless they do a flight lead skin with the eagle/red hawk actually colored in on the tail
another possible add to the 76mm Shermans is a researchable muzzle break modification, as we can see in listed images, each Sherman with the M1A1C cannon which is just the M1A1 we have on pretty much every 76mm Sherman without a muzzle break besides the M4A3E2 76 but is threaded to use said muzzle break, honestly its mostly just ethicists thing
although it most likely serve zero purpose, but could be comparable to the VFWs sides being raised or lowered, that and it would be neat allowing US Shermans to be different from the other copy paste ones by allowing them to have a bit more (but functionally no difference to performance) physical customization compared to its other nation counterparts
M4A1 76
M4A3E2
i honestly didn’t mind grinding out each Sherman in every tech tree, even though if you check my stats i mainly played the US vehicles in each tech tree or made my lineup centered around said Sherman, i wouldn’t mind another Sherman or 2 to research and spade as long as it has its own unique quirk, the M4A1:base common model, uses aircraft engine
M4: an early hull (small hatch) Sherman modified into late war Sherman with the extra armor plates, with the smooth transition housing, and M3A1 cannon/gun mantle
M4A2: 75 Sherman with enough effective enough to be angled, diesel engine, APCR
M4A3 105: mobile howitzer platform effectively (used to be) low tier heavy tank, ford V8 engine, has HVSS/widened tracks
M4A1 76: unique turret model (one less cupola so was not updated with the other 2)
M4A2 76: highest top speed for a US Sherman at 29 MPH
M4A3 76: modeled after the E8, has HVSS/widened tracks, 2nd fastest 76 Sherman but don’t often reach the top speed
M4/T26: M4 Sherman with a T26 turret (only found 1 photo of it so far)
M4A3E2: A M4A3 with all around better armor (one of 2 75mm M4A3s in game)
well you get my point, i could go and name things from each Sherman that is actually different for each model/nation but that would be an obscenely long post,
point being, i would effectively like modular Sherman hulls based on the A1s-A3s (being 3.3-4.0 respectively)as well as modular 76mm Shermans, (being 5.0-5.7), the one thing i think WOT does better than war thunder is the demonstration of the Sherman variants, although some pieces not being fielded on the same tank being the T23 turret with the 105mm gun, it still shows off just how customizable these vehicles were, to the point where there was a Sherman for (nearly) every roll
TL;DR: moar shermans/modular Shermans based around the 75 and 76mm turrets respectively to create unholy amalgamations like the M4A3E4 and the M4A1E6 (post war creations but still) could be tested on a dev server or something, and it wouldn’t be entirely (extremely small margin) copy paste and would allow players to make a version of said tank to fit their playstyle
my bad, theres so many dual letter F-15s veriations based on/off of the F-15EX platform that its hard to keep track, and unless they do add Singapore, i don’t see a reason for it, outside of just adding a more modern F-15E 2007 or newer
Please add the T29E3 I need the final T29 variant with the rangefinder ears!
Also make it a tech-tree vehicle instead of another premium so that everyone can grab their own T29 for free without buying the premium version even though it isn’t that expensive.
Or as an interesting twist you can add the E3 model as a unique modification for the already existing T29 premium since it would actually be a very cool modification that a premium rank IV tank can have as well as making people buy the T29 even more if they so choose to equip the original modification or want the E3 modification for the rangefinder and T5E1 gun version without the muzzle break.
I am wishlisting that the accepted bug report for the UK Phantoms being capable of using SuperTEMP Skyflashes gets acted upon and they differentiate the FG.1 and FGR.2 by giving one of them SuperTEMPs and 9Ls (which they were also capable of carrying), not sure what the BR changes should be after such a change.
The SuperTEMP/9L carrier would still be far worse than the EJ Kai due to a wayyyy worse radar, SuperTEMPs being slightly worse than 7Fs, and no internal cannon. And with how bad compression is the EJ Kai is not exactly a powerhouse at 12.3, that doesn’t seem like a good BR. The other contemporary would be the F-4J at 12.0, which I think you could get away with saying 9G < 9L but 7F (and HMD ) > SuperTEMP and that balances each other out to keep it at 12.0. The Tornado F.3 has the same loadout at 12.0 with a way better radar and let’s be honest the FG phantoms might have better flight performance than a Tornado but with a gun pod it’s still pretty mediocre.
Then that leaves the other variant that retains the standard Skyflashes+9Gs. Honestly with how short ranged Skyflashes are and that they appear at 11.3 on the F-4E, pairing that with the fact that you have to carry a heavy, draggy, and inaccurate gun pod to have a gun at all, there is an argument that even as a PD phantom this plane could go to 11.7. The MiG-23MLx variants have part-time MTI, a better radar missile (R24R), better flight performance, and all-aspect IR’s in both the R24T and R60M. Really seems like a strong case to be made.
…there is no confirmation, just that they mentioned it. They’ve cancelled/delayed it for the last year.
And to be honest, I hope they don’t. China (PRC+ROC), Pakistan and North Korea have more than enough vehicles to fill 5 lines. Singapore just would dilute the tree.
“Where would Singapore fit?” No idea. Would fit if Japan went for a more ASEAN Subtree route, could go to Israel as a looser connection
