Yeah. It would be both badly received by the Iranians, but also nonsense considering Russian-Iranian ties aren’t as strong as some people think. With China though? Yeah that already makes more sense than Russia.
In any case and like Tissetassen said, Algeria makes more sense to be added as a subtree in the USSR/Russian tree. This would even allow the use of locally modified BTR/BMPs or Boxers.

North Korea or Vietnam would make more sense as a sub tree.
But besides anything to be perceived political, anything is possible. I’d still rather see Ukraine as the sub tree.

i think vietnam is a subtree of china right now
but most of its vehicles are russian
as a player who have all germany vehicles: germany no more need poland as subtree lol (after they added swiss)
