The developers were never able to come up with a good reason to add Soviet equipment to the UK.

Oh yeah, totally agreed, I’d also love to see an actual post-Soviet nation as a subtree, that would obviously be the most fitting pick. But in this specific case, Vietnam is already tied into the Chinese tree and DPRK has historically had way closer relations with China too. Algeria on the other hand has been one of Russia’s most important modern customers, like for the Su-57s, S-400s (and the alleged S-500 deal), and the alleged Su-34ME orders plus a bunch of other systems. So from that perspective, Algeria actually makes a lot of sense as a subtree option compared to DPRK.

The two aren’t mutually exclusive obviously, but I would just like to see Algeria as a subtree in Russia because more modern systems than those of the DPRK would be available (like the Terminators, T-90SA etc…).

It’s a chinese tank and it’s also made by chinese

I would really love to see Iran as a subtree. It would be such an interesting and fun nation to play.

Well, Vietnam, when China was added, was transferred to the Chinese sphere (But the USSR can get the MiG-28)

North Korea is a very controversial country, because its equipment is in the USSR branch, but the official equipment of North Korea is in China + you need to take into account the external situation

Algeria gained independence too problematically, that it turned into a hot phase, and Algeria has a lot of equipment from the USSR/Russia, right up to the generals

Yeah, thats why I think it would be a decent idea… Because I’ve already seen some people suggest that we be in the French tech tree and it’s just such a bad idea… As non-sensical as it is disrespectful.

At least the excuse Gaijin can have with India is that they are part of the Commonwealth and India had its own army and equipment even during the colonial era. But again, it was a bad idea to add them in the UK TT in my opinion.

Here are the top tier aircraft I would like to see added to the US in the near future and their rough equivalents/counterparts.

The ones I’m mostly interested in would pretty much just be adding AESA radars to current top tier jets. Each of the ones listed also has a pretty clear counterpart that can be added to other TTs, so it’s more about moving the game along in terms of technology than it is wanting new toys for just the USA.

  • F-16C Block 50+ PoBIT: The US’s Block 70 equivalent. It adds the APG-83 SABR, DL16, a new cockpit, and would likely come with Scorpion HMD. – Would likely be 14.0 or 14.3 – Equivalents would be the JAS39E, MiG-35, J-10B/C, and F-16V Block 70.

  • F-15C Late: The F-15C with more modern missiles, the APG-63(V)3 AESA radar, an IRST pod, a Sniper TGP, and possibly AMBER racks (I wouldn’t expect those, but still possible). Also gets a new MFD in the cockpit (it looks quite comical). It would have the same PW-220 engines it has now, so the flight performance wouldn’t improve much. – Would likely be 14.0 or 14.3 – Equivalents would be the Su-30SM (already in game) and maybe the F-15JSI (depends on the missile count, I can’t find a concrete number).

  • F/A-18E Block II/III Super Hornet: Bigger and heavier F/A-18C Late with 2 more missiles and an APG-79 AESA radar. It could potentially get the AIM-174B in the future, but I wouldn’t expect that now. – Would likely be 14.3 – Equivalent would be the Su-30SM (already in game).

  • F-15E RMP: Just an F-15E but with the APG-82(V)1 AESA radar. Honestly this would be a pretty redundant addition. They should just jump to the F-15EX if they plan on adding the RMP. – Would definitely be 14.3 – Equivalents would be the Su-30SM2, Rafale F.3R (already in game), Eurofighter T2 (already in game), and maybe the J-16 (depends on the armament).

  • F-15EX: Like the aforementioned RMP, the EX gets the APG-82(V)1, but it gets another host of upgrades. It gets new engines, the same GE-129s from the F-16C Block 50, four more AAM mounts, a new FBW system (not really relevant for WT), a new cockpit, a new D-JHMCS, and possibly AMBER racks (again, I wouldn’t expect those). – Would definitely be 14.3+ – Equivalents would be the Su-35S, the J-15/J-16, the F-15IA, the Rafale F.4, and the Eurofighter T4/T5.

There are some alternative additions that I would not expect in the TT but could be added in the future as squadron vehicles, premiums, or event vehicles.

  • F-16E Block 60: Used by the UAE, the Block 60 introduces the more powerful GE-132 engine. However it only uses the APG-80 AESA radar. It’s still an AESA radar, it’s just less advanced than the APG-83 SABR. It would be trading better engine performance for a slightly less advanced radar.

  • F-15SA/QA: While the export Advanced Eagles would be cool additions to the US tech tree, adding all of them would be immense filler. These would be best added as event vehicles way down the line or as skins for the F-15EX.

There’s no definitive answer just yet since it’s not done yet, but eight missiles was mentioned, which would be the same as the F-15C without AMBER racks. There’s a chance it won’t actually add new missile capabilities, just introduce AMRAAMs as standard service loadouts.

Should be fairly comparable to the late F-15C, since it also (at least as far as we know so far) won’t change the engines from the current PW-220s, but adds AN/APG-82(V)1 AESA radar. Though it will probably be a while before we see the finished F-15JSI.

Yeah, that’s pretty much what I found as well. It would basically go:

  • AN/APG-82(V)1 versus AN/APG-63(V)3
  • JSI gets EPAWSS, C Late doesn’t
  • Both get more advanced AMRAAMs

Seems fair enough in my opinion. I doubt the minor improvements the JSI has over the C Late would manifest into anything crazy enough to warrant a different BR.

Perchance a CL-1201?

JSI gets EPAWSS, but C Late(and all other US Eagles) are supposed to have BOL pods.

82v1 vs 63v3 differences are not really relevant for WTs purposes.

Also, is there anything stopping an F-15C late from using AIM-260?

Even if it can/could, I highly doubt we will get a F-15C Late with AIM-260s in game. We’ll be lucky if we see them on the F-15EX in game in all honesty.

Experiential blueprint AA cruiser USS Seattle. The closest competitor with the Worcester class AA Cruiser Design. The Seattle Design unfortunately lost but I’d really like to see Seattle in game as a folder vehicle of the Roanoke
