and supposedly hybrid electric drivetrain, unmanned turret and possibly dual-band AESA setup

They look like smoke grenades.

What a time to be alive, AESA radar on tanks

Only one crew hatch on the turret seems like a bad decision to me. I wonder how many crews are inside the turret

There’s three sets of vision blocks on the UFP, so I’d imagine none, as the turret is probably unmanned given the lack of vision blocks on top of the turret.

Why did you add the MiG-29M2 instead of the M? Ain’t it a twin seater?

yeah M2 is a twin seater variant of the M from 2005, it was mostly just to symbolize its the variant MiG-29M 9.61 from 2005 and not the MiG-29M 9.15 from the 90s/80s since most talk ive seen about the 29M variants people mix up the two variants. could have just typed 9.61 after but didnt really cross my mind at the time lol

Not really anything special tbh. AESA radars are installed on agricultural drones aswell for example

Fun fact: AESAs are only expensive to develop, they’re actually in many cases cheaper to produce then conventional systems.

This is due to them scaling much more favorably with production, with basically every piece on them being interchangeable, and most components having multiples on one system. Modern increases in computer engineering have also made the signal processing components a lot cheaper in modern times.

Btw do you have any updates on suggestion backlogs? I heard there’s a huge backlog of suggestions waiting to be accepted

Yeah, unfortunately there’s not really any update on that front, still a good bit of a backlog.

Now that the PGZ09 is going up to 9.0, the PGZ88 would be great to fill the spaa gap at 8.7/.3

Doesn’t the M2 have an abysmal amount of Countermeasures though?

Sexy tank, is it the one getting the absurdly long 105mm apfsds shell?

All the T-80 variants that I can think of 🙃
