ERA is still armor. Metal, filler explosive, metal.
Just different approach compared to layers of rubber or ceramics or uranium. ~ Both are armor sandwiches, if you think about it.
ERA might still sound odd if you still visualize armor from a strictly RHA perspective.

i know. it just appears that ERA has became the armour equivalent of using deoderant instead of a shower, only masking the main problem at hand
