Yepp, the block 2 germany, sweden, italy, and spain have contracted Diehl to make will have datalink. Currently its only datalink is while on the plane. So it can still get info about a plane outside of the carrier planes sensor view from another source and make predictions to launch and LOAL it cant actively correct its predictions after launch

The R74M2 does not have IIR. It still uses a dual band IR seeker like the R73 and R74M. Literally the only change was trimming down the control surfaces to fit it inside the su57s weapons bay.
