Could you please let me know if this bug report has been forwarded and accepted? It is a very annoying bug and makes the game more difficult when not using cyclical switching. I feel like it’s a core gameplay issue regarding radar, so it’s pretty important.

So none of the devs think it’s possible a J model could get the same BOY 402 modification seen in 3 separate model Drakens?
One that’s literally the same model which is Finlands and we all have them mounted the same way on the side of the engine?

None of these variants are the J variant, so again, because there are 3 Drakens with countermeasures, doesn’t mean all Drakens could.

Then I have one last question, are unpurchased but compatible parts allowed to be pushed for a report?
The tail hook mountings for our Drakens were originally made for the Flygvapnet who chose to not install them.
Would that be good enough for the devs to look at it?

If its applicable to the J specifically, then feel free to report it. If its not, then it wont be accepted.
Well, the J variant just seems obviously like an upgraded F variant. And the XS is also an upgraded F. It’s so obvious that it’s possible to add the flares. The devs say it’s not possible, but you, Smin, as part of the community, do you think it should get them, as a subjective opinion?
It’s for all Drakens as they have the same mounts on the tail, the Flygvapnet doesn’t use tailhooks for landing so it was seen as unnecessary.
These mounts also include the CM dispensers we have.
I’ll look at getting stuff together for it, I figure the devs will want more than 1 primary source

guys dont you see the issue isnt that you arent penning 30 mm effective with a 58mm pen warhead, the issue is easily explained by the lmur having 6 mm more pen

I have found a funny thing with the rb 15Fs there is a short period of time where they are armed but still corporeal to the plane (once they are in full flight your own plane just phases through them) and if you go slow enough so the missiles stay next to your plane and roll just as that tiny window happens, and hit one with your plane… you blow yourself up.
i have managed to do it exactly twice. once by accident and once trying to recreate. the window is so small (and seemingly random if it happens or not) that its near impossible
