Art is not a source, the photo you showed me the other day (and was posted below your message) is considered one, but its quality is low and cannot conclusively provide what is needed.
The pilot being turned around means nothing, as equipment is found there on all helldivers (even modeled ingame) behind them, and they are meant to be able to access these instruments.
Get a picture of the interior of it, that’s my advice.

Yeah museums aren’t normally trusted, if that were the case the F-35 would have 4x missiles lol museum staff thought it looked cooler on display with them even though they can’t be fired.

Sweden barely got something in the latest update and you don’t give the J35J the 12 flares while the F5C does? For balancing features it should get the flares, with no RWR. I waited so long for this Draken only to have it as a F4C in the Swedish tech tree, probably dying from a Mig-25 or from a Magic-1. I’m with Pheonix on this one. We don’t need to chill. We need the planes that we deserve in the Swedish tech tree and fight for it.
Seeing all these bug report really makes me think I should prepare ahead of time for the Polish tech tree 🤔

I mean J35J and XS are the same model the argument of different variant was already silly.
If anything you also have the R35E which has them in swedish service or J35F1 and F2 with CMs

The F-5C retains technical compatibility with the earlier A. Should this be proven for the J35J, then it can be considered.
The temperature of the discussion did. Its possible to disagree with something and voice an opinion without getting aggressive. We dont need to throw civility out the window to make a point heard.
Smin where did you or the devs get the idea that it it wouldn’t be compatible? The XS started out as a F model and became a J model, no reason another J model couldn’t mount those CMs, especially when other swedish recon models got them.
It’s not trying to sound rude but I don’t know where you are assuming they aren’t compatible

We are providing the answers from the developers. If you have information to suggest the J is compatible, please feel free to make a report and we can pass it for review providing there is sufficient information.
the AN/ALE-40 was made in 1974 (flare capable version later in 1978)
the F-5A entered service in 1964 and the F-5C left service in 1966

Entry to service is not a requirement. Its the technical compatibility of the airframe.
A35XD, J35F for Austria, all the D and up models can receive countermeasures, our Drakens were F models and received them with the main initial differences being pylons and internal fuel.
Austrian Drakens use the same CM system as the XS even though they started as D models
Now I could get not giving the J35J the S35E CM pod as it’s different but the J could receive the same CM pods as all the other F models that also received them, the XS also happened to get the upgrade to the J model and have the CM dispenser.
Austria used the same CM pod as Finland on their F model
I mean if the base models can be upgraded to the J while still retaining the Boy 402CM dispensers why can’t the J have it on Sweden even though it’s not a unique attribute of the XS when we have it
