it evens out the PL-12A is faster by a bit then the 120A, but 120D is still faster
edit PL-12A is faster to the target then both but the 120D has more speed by the time it hits
End speeds are
PL-12A(665m/s)
120D(725m/s)
120A(674m/s)

so uh when is gaijin going to add actual RCS to helicopters? they are still pretty much immune to SPAA with zero counterplay

Maybe specify the DIRCM Helis lol any non dircm is just spaa food
all hellis are immune to radar guided SAMs at top tier because if they are hovering missiles just cant track them, most SPAA at top tier is radar guided only real exceptions being the IRIST SLM and Pantsir
ah but you see you can just uh… spawn an adats or ITO-90 and the problem is solved :)
Also they need to give helicopters an actual heat signature, its still annoys me that the unshielded 8.3 French insect looking thing is colder than the dark side of the moon.
Question;
In Arjun’s Ready Rack, the three shells sitting in the floor are the LAST ones to be used.
I wonder; shouldn’t they be the FIRST ones to be used?
It feels odd that they are just left down there until the end, instead of being able to simply load the turret bustle without shells in the floor.

Uhm, why is the speed bleed of the AIM-120D over time higher than that of the AIM-120A (even at nearly same speeds it loses speed faster) even though the D has clipped wings (less drag) and is heavier (more inertia) than the A?

its only a 6kg difference max now between the different 120 version, and the 120A/B got their entire motor remodeled while the 120D only got a drag reduction, also the 120D still has the highest amount of energy left
Yeah, but why should the AIM-120A have higher speed than the AIM-120D after 50 seconds flight time? It’s only physically possible if the AIM-120A has less drag than the D (or am I missing a point here).

I was talking about this graph you posted. Green = 120A and Red = 120D. The Green overtakes the Red in speed at 50 seconds.

AIM-120A simply takes longer to get there vs AIM-120D
Derby, AIM-7s, and AIM-120s have now been reworked. Anyone wanna take a guess on what missiles will get reworked next?
