IR missiles don’t have GNSS modeled correctly. They go on POINT mode instead of GNSS. This is easily seen on the AASM IR, as it will go IR mode and lose gimbal limits and thus lose lock and fly to the sky instead of to the target.

Well until 9.x altitude is important for combat, and AIM-26B is really good at high altitude, so idk how that would go against chaffless planes that need altitude to have an advantage
