Next Major Update - Rumor Roundup & Discussion

Will always cringe at the F-15EX being in the Strike Eagle line 🫠

Where else would you put it?

Beneath the F-15C GE. The aircraft it’s meant to actually replace?

Nah I think it’s the right fit behind the E. Yes IRL it is going to replace the C eventually but it’s 2-seat (like the E) and carries a lot of air-to-ground munitions (like the E).

Also it gives line 5 something at Rank 9 otherwise without it it will be capped off at the E (or E RMP if they decide to add that as a TT addition).

They will very obviously add a rank 10, at the very least for the late block stealth aircraft.

How else do you expect them to sell rank 9 premiums for $100?

It’s derived from the F-15E tho

The Legacy Hornets go in Line 3 with the naval fighters even though they replaced the A-7’s as attackers.

operational use its closer to the F-15CGE

derived is not that good as then the A-7 would go after the F-8´s or the F-15E after the F-15A

Still wouldn’t make any sense (alongside other decisions) though. It’s not meant to replace Strike Eagles in their role, even despite sharing the same airframe.

I think this is the likely route for that line. Naturally it’ll be DOA if it comes after the F-15EX

And? It’s not the Advanced Strike Eagle, just Advanced Eagle

One of many funny decisions

Closer, yes, but it’s still a multirole fighter rather than a dedicated air superiority fighter

China could have J-20, J-20A. J-20S, FC-31, J-35, J-35A

F-35 too

I thought it was J-20A → J-20S?

Nvm, just checked. I think Gaijin will add the “best” version of the aircraft so J-20A might be the version China gets. I think it’s 50-50 if they get the original J-20, though.

I dont necessarily think they should all be added just the J-20A, J-35/35A just saying china theoretical has the most “production” options. FC-31 not included. Itd be a neat event jet i guess at some point down the line

Yeah, might not be necessary.

Only US and China even have the 5th gen numbers to make a rank worth it with already 4+ service variants only and plenty of prototypes for each, while everyone else has an F-35 or two and if they’re lucky maybe Gaijin will be permissive with the incomplete prototypes that a handful of nations have one of.

Then again while it’s not necessary, I think Gaijin might want to round it off to 10 ranks just because of the way that looks more than any actual reason.

Can’t wait for them to be added with 100% made up specifications

J-35? Or did ROC order them now?

Like 98% of all 14.x and up jets? Its literally nothing new
