a lot of the asking for a rafale is either to annoy french gatekeepers or because people want a slice of the “This vehicle is full of fake buffs because [reasons i dont think are safe to mention on forum]” pie without it being a russian slop addition.

literally none of the Indian additions do. It would honestly be on brand to continue getting vehicles that add no new niche. Feel the same about Tejas as its gonna just do what typhoon already does.
Cheetah however, we dont have anything from 10.0-12.3 which is honestly any good for the BR at all and that would majorly assist in that.

Just put the british empire with britain, french empire with france, all of west/central europe with Italy, scandinavia+finland with sweden, non russia eastern bloc in a poland tree, asian communist nations with china, non communist asian countries with japan. Just draw the damn lines on the map and be done with it

The view that sub-nations should only be fillers, and unique ones at that, ultimately suggests the system shouldn’t exist in the first place. Because at that point, once the difference between a split nation the get one vehicle a decade and a sub-nations their isn’t any.
I do believe how problematic this view is could be easily seen with the 1A5BE discourse, where even if it came with the proper service ammo, if it wasn’t replaced with a one-off prototype, it shouldn’t be added.
So here are a few things sub-nations can’t have:
Service vehicle
Things that share a part with something else
Things that share play style with something else.
And more.
Ultimately, a line-up made using service C&P will always be more interesting than a line-up limited to prototypes just to keep the nation “unique”.
Now a line-up of both would be ideal, but that would be properly leaning into why the sub-tree system got popular in the first place: proper representation. Sadly, people hate that if it’s for any nation outside the big 3 + France, I’ve noticed.

why does there have to be a copy paste lineup for every nation under the sun? it just makes more sense to focus on the ones that actually make a good amount of stuff

Knowing most claim everything in Eastern Europe that doesn’t have a home.
But this is someone who knows you, so my guess is every nation that isn’t Russia to come out of the USSR + the remaining Warsaw Pact members.
Either way, a lot of nations for the limited room.

so add them to our tree. very simple, no need for F-16’s in france or Su-30’s in Japan

-You lads got Stingray, which Congress never bought, and it should’ve been a unique light tank for Thai (And it is funny that Japan/Thai gets blamed for C&P)
-You lads stole Skink, which had no direct connection between the US Army and vehicles, and its only connection is ‘Based on Grizzly hull which is a licence-built Sherman’. And you lads have even more Skinks than the nation which has a direct connection with that project.

-Caribou/Airacobra Mk.1, which was an export variant of the P-39 and exists only in US TT in the P-400 namesake

eventually it is going to happen, not because there are only so many vehicles in the world, but because major nations use ‘Tech-Tree uniqueness’ as a gatekeeping tool.

Only nations which have a good amount of stuffs has rights to get new vehicles (USA, USSR, GER, France as examples), while other nations are rightfully starved for decades since ‘service vehicles’ are C&P slop.

Eurofighters lacked FnF (and before that, any SAL capability) CAS capability. No shortage of BVR missiles on any F-35
(Also taking a look at the distinct lack of HOSBO or whatever it’s called on any other Eurofighter…)

at least UK operated those, France never used the F-16 and Japan definitely did not use the Su-30
dont have an issue with stuff like F-15J but when the 3rd hornet is added to the UK or the 10000th leopard 2a4 is added, it gets excessive
What’s funnier is that the Grizzly hull was used, as that is what Canada had but was never meant to be permanently part of the Skink; what the “Skink” is is the turret, just that.
It was done as a project to fulfill a joint requirement both Canada and the UK(the only two nations to use it in “service”) had; well, the US rejected it without testing.
So to claim the US has a connection means they’re claiming every non-domestic vehicle the US tested is connected to the US, eg., claiming the world.

If that is a pretty big connection, how about automatically adding every 105mm M68 US tank to the UK TT since those are licensed versions of the L7A1, while adding every M256 tank to the German tech tree when those are licensed versions of the Rh120? 🤷♀️
Belgium/Dutch operated the F-16, and Indonesia operated the Su-30, just like how we operated those vehicles.
Then, if we consider BeNeLux or ASEAN weren’t a subtree of France/Japan, and added as 11/12th main nation of War Thunder.
Would you lads admit it? No? Look at israel and the Chinese Tech Tree, and you blokes complain about C&P.
