Its a 120mm barrel, the British 140mm was never mounted properly on a vehicle. There was a centurion used as a mobile test stand for some firings, but that was literally a ground test stand plopped on top of a spare centurion they had laying around, not really a suitable addition.
Oh, aight
I was kinda wondering why the gun looks more like a 120, while people keep claiming that it was a 140
I have seen the stationary testing rig though and I know that it propably wouldn’t work as a real tank
This suggestion hopefully comes to the game someday though:
Because it can come into game and it’s balanced where it is now if anything decompression is needed and it needs to be removed form the store and be brought back every once a year well every premium should it would benefit both gajin and the community
@Smin1080p_WT are you guys going to summarize the survey results you’ve been sending out after the recent updates? As far as I remember those are relatively new but there hasn’t been a follow up after the data is collected
another day , another day without dev blogs maybe on tomorrow or the day after since It cant be on Friday right?
Day 1330 of waiting for Polish tech tree
there is the front plate was said to be wrong

The surveys are for us and the developers to review and assess regarding feedback for the major updates. What people liked, disliked and what they would like to see.
So they likely saw the holy suggestion then : P
when are the next BR changes due?
Rocket planes still being at 8.3 is criminal, like why is the BI at 6.7 while the Ki-200 at 8.3 ?
I don’t mean to be rude, but the second part of that sentence suggests that the sub-trees are meant to replace and supersede the Japanese designs. For instance, the Fuji T-1 has capabilities similar to the Thai L-39 or F-84 but isn’t quite as good, so it would effectively be replaced by them. Or take the Kawasaki XT-4: it has capabilities similar to the Alpha Jet, but the latter performs better—thanks to its 27mm cannon versus the XT-4’s 7.7mm minigun—so the Alpha Jet replaces the XT-4.
Not at all. The Japanese tree cant be covered by domestic aircraft at every BR. In other cases, there are aircraft from its sub trees that may be more functionally useful in some situations. These do not “replace” domestic aircraft, which can always appear in the future as well. Our priority is expanding the Japanese tree with functionally useful and complementary vehicles for existing line-ups.
so do i, but more challengers is always welcomed to
I get it—the standard answer is always “Sub-trees don’t replace native vehicles.” But that’s hard to believe, given that so many post-war CAS aircraft from sub-trees have been added, yet Japanese ones are still missing—despite there being a few options available.
An additional question: what determines whether a given aircraft has a custom payload? Why, for instance, do the D4Y1/2/3 have them, while the A6M5 Hei and A6M6C do not? Or why do the F-86F-30 and -40 lack them, whereas the CA-27 Mk.32 has them?
All newer aircraft added to the game come with them. Older examples or those with more limited payloads currently do not.
The primary reason why they dont is primarily because they havent gotten to them yet, adding custom loadouts to those airframes has been in the works, and they promised with said loadouts that all new vehicles will come with it and older ones will be changed to the formatting as they go, whether this has changed or not has yet to be seen
I don’t think that’s what this means.
The T-1s are much different aircraft from the L-39 or F-84. They would perform worse with more limited armament, but are still on a decently capable airframe for an early jet. A T-1 could be added at a lower BR where it can bring a relatively fast strike aircraft to the popular 6.7 ground lineup for example, where the L-39 can’t be used because it has the ballistics computer. Or if Gaijin allow missiles a T-1 could make up for the otherwise very light armament by being the lowest fox 2 missile carrier (current being the more heavily armed Hawk Mk.100) at a BR around where the F-84 sits and bring a unique playstyle for air combat.
They fill entirely different roles in the game, so I think they can exist perfectly well alongside eachother.
But also these were added to represent their respective nations, so even if they filled the exact same role as far as gameplay is concerned, they shouldn’t be able to cancel eachother out. The T-1 will never be able to take the spot of Thailands first jet fighter, the same way that the F-84 will never be Japans first post-war domestic jet aircraft.
This thread sure has been active, even though there’s been no CM post yet.
Looking forward to having updates later this week :)
hundreds, no, thousands must cope for the CM post
