To be fair, the M1A2T also still has the old non volumetric armor model like the older US Abrams.
It proves that the SEPv3s are incredibly potent, borderline dominant top tier MBTs. If they weren’t the veteran players would have stopped playing them really quickly.
Just look at the T-90M arena, mediocre tank meaning that most veteran players just don’t even bother with researching or crewing it.
I am still blown away that they could Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V the new damage models for M1A1, M1A2 SEPv2 (Trophy) and both M1A2 SEPv3s, but they were seemingly unable to do so for all others despite having the exact same geometries…
It’s just that it’s the better tank of the NEWEST additions; Leopard 2RI being a second best and T-90M being… a T-90 xD
Leopard 2A7V is still better than any Abrams, but Germany is pointless to play because, despite 2A7V being better:
-The PARS missiles of their helicopter is utter trash and only gets 1 kill every 24 launches at best.
-All MBTs in the lineup following 2A7V are subpar and have been the same since 2019.
Just wait if this update Germany gets a good enough addition to draw players back to it… 2A8, 2A7A1, 2A7+, 2E, you call it. Then, that tank will exceed a 2.0 K/D and 60% WR.

Seriously though, for now the current config works. It’s… an ideal or rather, easier way of visualising vehicles throughout history.
But also, could you imagine the endless Bf 109s, Spitfires, etc. all in different lines because “well this plane actually had this one thing about it that was so different from the usual differences that it deserved its own line”
Man, I know its incredibly unlikely, but I really wish we got submarines this update they’ve been working on them for so long… Though given the current focus on Nuclear escalation even the hopes of a submarine test being possible in the near future seems unlikely…

Modern Abrams: top K/D because they are the second best tanks and are currently being spammed by the best players.
Merkava Mk.4M: top K/D beca- MERKAWHAT?! (it also has the second highest WR among all these tanks)

Afaik it was once said by either Gaijin staff or BVVD himself that the 5 vertical lines are hard coded into the game and that it is basically impossible for them now.
They may have some workarounds planned for the future but since they say that they are happy with the current UI/UX and won’t do any major changes, my hopes for this are rather slim
i was thinking about it since they said theres no limit to subtrees, even though there is very limited space in techtrees right now
I mean we know that the T-90M arena is getting the improved side ERA. Not that it will help it much, but the july 2026 stats at least make me understand why.
Honestly, I don’t think the T-90Ms should be Top BR.
Sure, being 12.3 wouldn’t change much, but at least they would cost less SP to spawn in 12.7 matches (which would still be most), so that would be… something? xD
