Anyways, throwback to the most iconic War Thunder (live action!) trailer yet:

I hope we get one of those again someday. Infantry makes this possible, IMO.

Germany is unsavable…

Until there’s more incentive for new players to start at trees other than Germany, Russia, and the US, those three (and Germany specifically) will keep amassing the newest and least experienced players

It’s been going on for ages and won’t stop any time soon unless stuff changes

Nothing is a magic bullet, but a few options to help address this are:

  1. add a “nation of the day” for every player on log in that gives a 10-20% RP bonus for different nations. It can be somewhat randomized, but reversely weighted based on which nations have the most play time that month. Maybe this bonus decreases by 5% for every tree you have reached top rank in until it bottoms at 10%, so that you do more to incentivize new players vs experienced ones

  2. similar to 1. Every month designate a nation (again reversely weighted based on playtime or match count) for every player. Time spent on this nation could allow the player to freely “unlock” some amount of convertible RP (say up to 1000 a day) for that designated nation of the month, like how we get flagged spawn tokens.

  3. Focus on adding some stand out or well known vehicles to minor nations. CCV, EBR-1954, Centauro Draco come to mind. Effectively dangle some new toys for minor nations that aren’t just imports from other nations

Yeah.

I have 9 Top Tier Ground trees, and this is how much I’m playing lately each of my playtime, roughly:

1- United States: 40%
2- Russia: 30%
3- Sweden: 15%
4- Japan: 15%
5- Israel: 0%
6- France: 0%
7- Germany: 0%
8- China: 0%
9- United Kingdom: 0%

1- United States: a sweet lineup with nice tanks despite the issues, and a great helicopter which I’ve just started playing.

2- Russia: a completely different experience, strudy but otherwise worse tanks, BMPT Terminator of Universes, and a great helicopter which I’ve just started playing, as well as the very best SPAA.

3- Sweden: literally Germany on Steroids.

4- Japan: a great uparmored Leopard with great thermals, a good Russian-style MBT, and great Type 10s despite their mobility nerfs (without these, I would play Japan WAY more).

5- Israel: pointless. Merkava Mk.4s are 12.7s with 11.7 armor at best.

6- France: pointless. It’s just United States, but worse. Rafale and its AASMs are cool, though.

7- Germany: pointless. It’s just Sweden, but worse.

8- China: pointless. It’s just Russia, but worse (even though it should be better).

9- United Kingdom: pointless. Challengers are poorly depicted and all 12.7s are overtiered. There’s SEPv3, but I’ve already got it on United States with a far better lineup, so not bothering.

From top to down:

Waste of resources that will hopefully get lower numbers than top tier coastal
Same as above

We know
Removed from sale in November type pack
Is there any other option?
And the only surprising thing, Royal Navy already have a distinct ship in the same rank as a premium. Why?

Don’t you see the Russia bais !!! Nerf it

Kinda funny that Israel at 4.3 has a better winrate than the USSR and their sole vehicle at that BR is a literal halftrack with low penetrating 20mm cannons.

German, Soviet, Chinese and Swedish winrates are kinda cooked though Sweden does have the excuse that their vehicles due to how they are designed means that they have a way higher celling to get good in and the conventual vehicles they do have are few and far between

Kremlin Class Battleship

Ive seen enough, Add the T14.

So now that the “but it’s only been 2 weeks, it will stabilize” reason that people used for US dominating top tier GRB is gone, I’m curious what cope will come up next.

I think it’s really time for a lot of people to admit just how good the Abrams are at 12.7.

Something something Russian Bias, Abrams suffers something something

But the abrams actually DOES suffer. Give it m829a4 and make the LFP 600mm as it should be. Also ring volumetric should be 300+mm not 115

On the other hand:

People made that argument, because the newer Taiwanese Abrams performed better than older American ones…

They claimed that “Americans just sucked”.

Now, however, the new American Abrams perform WAY better than both the Taiwanese Abrams, AND the older American Abrams, as well as the British ones.

So… what, suddenly American players don’t suck anymore? Or is the implication that the American Abrams is better than the rest now, even though the implication during the Taiwanese Abrams peak was that all were the same except Americans were bad?

All this proves is that veterans and experienced players are still playing the new American Abrams tanks.
