Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Same BR as the Centauro 2… Crazy that they decided to move THAT up but not the BMPT…

Gaijin when people have skill: NERF NERF!! RAISE BR!! TOO OP!!

Referring to what, are you here??

Honestly, if they applied ALL of the following changes, Centauro 2 may be worth something;

-Autoloader’s rate of fire should be 3 seconds.

-The loader, who’s sitting right there, should be able to load the gun manually when the autoloader is emptied/broken, instead of locking fire till the autoloader is replenished/repaired (5 seconds aced).

-The time to replenish the first order rack should be reduced.

The T-80BVM 2023 will surely come trust.

(It will instead be a third T90M variant)

I’m seeing that as a modification
Just like they added the ERA mod to the BVM sometime later after its release.

None of what the su47 had as it was only a tech demo.

If the systems are known Gaijin can add a hypothetical production fighter variant, like the Yak-141, Ho-229, J6k1, etc. The problem is we literally don’t know what the planned systems were, if development even got to a point were systems were definitively chosen.

I don’t think they’ll add it without finding solid proof that it’s supposed better reverse speed actually exists.

Seems too complicated for this game or probably just too niche to care about.

because it just doesn’t, soviets can very well get T80UDs that got prototyped reverse gear enhanced transmission going at upwards of 30+ km reverse if gaijin so wills, mod.2023 is no else then literal ERA in some places…it would be very weird to not be a modification…

We know exactly what the ho229 was planned to use lmao and it was the chosen pick.

I don’t know what you want me to say bro 🫩

If the tease from the WT Ru telegram is anything to go by we’ll see it.

I’m talking about the SU-47, the examples i gave are uncomplete protypes that actually have info available on their intended production specifications

Not that slow, you know, the T58’s reload time doesn’t even take three seconds, and that’s a 155mm shell.

but the T58 is historically accurate, and if im not mistaken gaijin keep the autoloaders with their IRL time of reload; Centauro II is able to reload under 4s IRL?

Reload time is nothing more than Gaijin’s soft balancing tool. Given the current situation, it’s really hard to understand how this thing can still be rated at 12.3. It’s mostly just because a small group of players use it, making its stats look good. If Italy had the same player activity as the US or Russia, this wouldn’t happen.

Iirc 3-4 s, but it isn’t official value as it’s classified. Looking at loading process 3 s sounds true.

It’s a light tank, hard to compare to others, analogs would be probably only CV90120-T and HSTV-L.
It can kill anything frontally, has thermals, scouting drone, what else is needed? 😆
Although since it only gets turret rotation speed disadvantages and no autolader+manual loading feature, Centauro I 120 is a way better vehicle even in 12.7 lineup.
But yeah, in Soviet TT it would sit at 12.3 only if it’s fully covered by Relict and featuring APS.

So I chose to play my Centauro 1-120, rather than the Centauro 2. In Italy’s top br lineup, the Centauro is meant to serve as a highly mobile main battle tank, which sets it apart from light tanks of other countries. In my view, the best top-tier light tanks are the HSTV and RDF, as they truly fit the role of multi-purpose vehicles. The Centauro and CV90120 are just light chassis equipped with a large-caliber anti-tank gun. Moreover, this anti-tank gun doesn’t really have any ‘firepower advantage’ in the top br nowadays.

I think a change to a 4-second 6-round mechanical reload combined with the remaining six rounds of 5-second manual reload would be more appropriate; right now, the 5-second mechanical reload has too many ammunition limitations, not to mention it only has six rounds.
