Yeah I agree that it should have been M829A1. This is actually a pretty incredible change for top tier US MBTs. Now you can choose if you want the anti ERA capabilities of M829A3 or the velocity of M829A2.
I’ll probably stick with M829A3 myself, but the lower velocity is taking some getting used to for me lol.
They are made by german company, using german upgrade package, the leopard revolution package, and using the same addon, AMAP B

any idea when United Korean tree be a thing? that’s been a while and sooner or later some planes like T/FA-50 gonna be added (umm Japan tree that has all Thai, Malaysian and Indo air forces uses the similar types)
also please look into Heli PvE really bad, the situation is dire with every SPAA AI counters your ATGMs now because of nuclear escalation codes left out

advvocating for an armour buff which the 2A7 doesnt really need (but a 2A6 and PSO armour buff i can get behind)
its not a buff
its a bug fix
a Buff would be Unrealistic, the current situation is however unrealistic which is why a BUG was reported which needs FIXING

I mean yeah for IOG alone it would be worth adding the AIM-7P but AIM-120 argument is just mental gymnastics at this point.
AIM-120 and AIM-7P operate on Link 16, where AWG-9 or APG-71 use AIM-54 dedicated link instead. One cannot be used with another which is why DL for AIM-7P could never be achieved on F-14’s.

dont get me wrong im all for it but weather its a bug or a buff it doesnt really need it, i think they should focus on fixing tanks that actually need fixing like the Challengers, Arietes, Leclercs, Merkavas, Type 10s etc
nobody denied that those tanks need fixing too
this one is just ANOTHER on the list and I wouldn’t go around pushing others off the list either

tbf it is depressing that pretty much most tanks at top tier now have stock rounds better then the challenger 2s best round, that gap in performance only seems to grow
i will still stand by that the Challenger 2E is at best a 12.0 tank forced up to 12.7 to say the UK has 12.7s, now with the M1A2 Sep V3 in the UK tree maybe we will see the 2E go down to 12.0, I refrain to even called the BN 12.7 worthy it is solely carried by the APS and that is it
