well the 2A7V has better armour than the 2RI and better armour than every leopard before it so idk what your talking about

Yeah these are threaded lifting eyes/shackles, we have similar ones for removing the mineproof floors where I’m working, and they’re also painted pink for high visibility. Usually there’s a chamfered plastic or metal screw that’s installed when lifting operations are not going on, just to keep water out of the screw thread.
Unless there’s a quick release system whereby an entire empty launcher can be removed and replaced with a loaded one, then the lifting eyes will not normally be fitted.
It will never not be funny that the 122 has the 2a7v’s actual armor (roughly) lol but dont we dare ask for 7v fixes
It is better than chally 1 yes? Leopard 2a7v “only” have the same armor as base 2a4+addon ufp, so its worse than if a 2a5/6 getting addon ufp, thus regressing
If you think that is bad, look at the Mk.4s stock round that they have had for years now.

The thing is that the missile was still actively carried till 2000s. Therefore any upgrade may exist, and would probably more realistic than what if’s pulled for Russian jets.
But they do not want to investigate further. They don’t want to implement a tech tree one either.
Also IOG mode still exists and would be useful for the jet. Even though the first minute spam of Phoenixes will hunt newbies easily, any close range engagement would favor AIM-7P significantly

2a7v should have better armor as it is using D-tech while 122 use C-tech, C-tech alone without addon provide around 430mm ke, while D-tech should be around 600mm ke

Funny. Just another example of unifying the top tier experience. Everybody gets a T-90, Leopard and Abrams. Infinite inaccuracies for Merkava, Challenger, Leclerc. Map all sabot values to 620-650 range.

You are comparing it to addon-less tank, try comparing it to tank with addon
Leopard 2RI is a base 2a4 with b-tech as its base armor, so without addon it is around 350mm(b tech leo 2 in game still wrong with 300mm), addon adding 320mm extra protection
Now in game 2a7v have same ke protection as a base 2a4 b-tech with addon, if it is atleast the same as 2a5 it should have around 750mm, that mean the base armor in 2a7v is regressing compared to 2a5
