Sweden as we have currently said has no options for this, even via its sub trees.

Would it be reasonable or even possible to get something like the UH-60 that in Swedish service doesn’t carry armament but technically can through technical feasibility carry these kits: ( https://news.lockheedmartin.com/2026-04-15-Sikorsky-Offers-New-Armed-BLACK-HAWK-R-Helicopter-Kits-to-Deliver-Additional-Mission-Capabilities ) ?

Would that be a suggestion worth making?

Not even by that, the only way to give nordics a F&F is to give them the Danish MH60 and give it the technically-compatible JAGM that it can mount but simply it wasn’t bought

If they gave Gripen E and Euro’s the SPICE to give them IR bombs for technical compatibility, so they can with this, and sweden TT is actually in dire need so…

By technical compatibility since there is plenty of proof that a few Blackhawk versions can mount them and there are a few bug reports that mention it with solid proof, if not this way, well you gotta invent something that doesn’t exist

Sikorsky - UH-60M: Armed Black Hawk Kit

[image] The Sikorsky UH-60 Black Hawk is one of the most ubiquitous helicopter’s to be built, doing anything from cargo and troop transport to medical evacuations to frontline combat air support. But now instead of needing separate UH-60’s for each mission type, you just need the one. On the 15th of April 2026, Sikorsky announced their new Armed Black Hawk kit to give nation’s existing fleet of UH-60M’s the ability to provide both transport and gunship roles at the same time.

I’d imagine you’d need conformation on whether Sweden or any other nation was buying the kit before making the suggestion even if the kit is compatible already.

There is no future for sweden on this regard because non of its sub tree have or want a attack heli, if gaijin want to play this balanced, sweden need to be stretched a bit more and give it something from the nato, or because sweden considered russian helis at some point, can receive russian ones, there is a lot of helis which was under consideration sadly only a few of them got to trial, gaijin have to step up from their standards a bit to fix this issue im afraid, but thats just a personal opinion doesnt matter much

If it can be directly shown that the Swedish variants are compatible, and there is some connection to Sweden somehow, then sure.

This stretch was already done with the AHS and Mi-28A (both of which were at least tested by / in Sweden for consideration). Sadly there is no further stretch here. Adding an entirely random NATO helicopter that has no connection in the slightest to Sweden unfortunately is not an option right now.

And? Serial production has already begun. The Fenice is already a finished heli.

Environmental testing will now be completed, while the integration and testing of weaponry, the combat management system configuration, and the human-machine interface continue.” From the Leonardo site. All the weapons they are configuratong now won be in game for a lot of time still so i dont see why it shouldnt come.

I like how you provided a source that it isnt actualy finished and in the last stage, good job.

According to sources of 2 month ago the AW249 is supposed to be handed over to italy at the start of 2028. So there you go, gotta wait another year until possible implementation
