South Africa had/has plenty of planes, Gaijin just never added them
What I’m saying is a nation already having a subtree doesn’t stop Gaijin from adding a second one.

Oh for sure, it just feels a bit imbalanced to give one nation mach 6 BVRAAMs while the BVRAAMs of the other nations are mach 4 only
But I’m not Gaijin lol
Any info regarding the AN/MPQ-64F1 radar that the NASAMS 3 was accepted to have?
so should gaijin now just invent mach 6 telephone poles of doom for the other nations?
Just like with many prior balance issues, there always is the option to not add a certain weapon (or to nerf it)
But again, this is Gaijin, they’ll just add it without a second thought
we wait for Polish tech tree
R-77m requirements was to be 2 to 3.5 x the range of standard r-77. So from 160km to around 280 km
so the US is fine to get the Aim-174 and China is fine to get the Pl-17 but because they arent as fast as the r-37m its not fair to add the r37m
what is even that logic
you are saying the r37 would be unfair and your solution is to make it unfair but in a different way
while completly ignoring the trade-offs the r-37 has for being able to go mach 6, like its poor manouverability compared to other long range missiles
Yeah they could definitely fight each other. It could go either way really, we’ll have to wait for more info on the M1E3 before anything more conclusive.
I do agree that like a T-14 is too much, but eventually they are going to add all this stuff
120d equivalent, like the Pl-15 i would say
Yea, but just that the requirements for it were to be at least better than the c-7.
What’s the dimensions of R-77M?
Thank you. These dimensions are similar to the PL-15, so maybe it’s between an AIM-120D3 and PL-15 in range
i think the Pl-15 dosent have a dual pulse motor tho
(not 100% sure on that)
Export model does so I would be surprised if the domestic one doesn’t
i stand corrected then
What I’m saying is that they could give them the R-77M depending on its specifications or nerf the R-37M if needed (which Gaijin probably wouldn’t do)
I don’t think the maneuverability matters all that much when used in BVR
Isn’t one of the PL-15 main features it’s dual pulse motor? I searched it and it’s pretty widely agreed that it does have one
