Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

It does retain the look of an r77, but ofc it loses the grid fins in favour of conventional ones, it’s also quite a long missile.

i am not sure but i think there is 2 r77m variants.
one being just a updated fin base r77-1
and other being a completly new missile who look to me a lot bigger

you can see here there is a extra part after the warhead on the M for the radar i think ?

First picture is cinematic asf haha

On a serious note tho, the missile in the hangar picture looks quite longer compared to the 77-1, much more than it seems in the second pic.

i am sure they tested on the base r77-1 who they have a million in stock to save up money on a brand new project

In what time frame can we expect proper bug fixes, im still tanking several missiles

its rougly 10% longer than the r-77-1

RVV_mods.svg

I’ve seen this graphic and very similar ones online a lot
The first three are the RVV-AE, RVV-PD (ramjet) and RVV-ZRK (Air-to-Surface?)
The last two are the R-77M and R-77ME

Dunno if it is accurate at all tho lol

that image is not correct

the r77m is longer than the r77-1

you can see it in this picture here

So the 29th of February ? lol

@Deathmisser you good? Never seen you get this angry on the forum XD

Is it just me or do the wings(?) also seem a bit smaller?

Anyways, the more important factor is, how much better would the R-77M be than the R-77-1 in WT?
If it’s too much of an upgrade, I don’t know if Soviet/Russian planes can get a newer BVRAAM along with a new IR missile

Yeah I’m good, just doing god’s work of trying to make US mains understand

First World War.

for range… we dont know (save to say that it is less than the r37m)

but for the pull, it says in the patent for the r-77m that it is still able to pull 50Gs at certain speeds/ fin AoA

they could still get the r37m for more range, and there were rumors about a ramjet r-77m

r-74m2 is their latest IR missile iirc

A mach 6 missile seems a bit excessive, but I guess that wouldn’t be unusual for the USSR tree lol

Yeah, they have obvious options in the IR department with the R-74M for their 4th gens and the R-74M2 for the Su-57

Unless they start the Turkish sub tree at WW1 (which they won’t do unless introducing more WW1 vehicles) then most likely no. Plus they already have Switzerland.

dear vympel how about you put an IR seeker on the R-77M with DL and LOAL, would be kinda funny

Just like Britain already had South Africa when India became a subtree lol

South Africa is pretty much just a ground sub tree and India has only 2 TT additions. They might aswell just be a Commonwealth subtree at this point.

the phoenix was also a bit excessive when it was added and iam also pretty sure that we are going to get the Aim-174, Meteor and Pl-15/17 alongside it

i think there is also the r-73m(2) for 4th gens without the clipped fins
