Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Gonna be real, yes it can lmao. Even in my Su-33 im fine playing at 13.3 because the matches are still filled with noobs. Plus R27ER basically plays itself, brain activity is essentially null and void when playing the 13.0 and up Su, they all need to move up

When in doubt R27ER then R27ET for safety.

Because Gaijin operates purely off of statistics and the F-15A’s are quite bad.
Case in point: Even the infamous turd that is the MiG-29SMT has better stats than the F-15A.

have they updated the br changes on the spreadsheet or not this time around?

Yeah this is a far better solution and what they should have done, but this is Gaijin we’re talking about =)

In a sense it’s in the same boat as the Mirage F1 - kind off. It gets 2 very very good missile while the rest of the kit is mid - from other missiles to flight model. I think, if we look at lower BRs, the mig29 is not a plane that should go down. It’s the entire BRs above that should be decompress.
But then again, with the F15 and some F16 going down, that’s kinda going against my point

Could use more votes 🙏

EN tables are now also updated. Full news tomorrow:

The table has been updated with new changes after feedback marked in Blue.

Will we have time to give feedback again or is tomorrow just the announcement of what has been decided for this BR update?

Especially regarding 12.0 UK Phantom situation and BR inconsistency for the Tornados

These are the updated changes already after feedback.

Since the YaK-141 is getting R-73 now could the F-14A and F-14B get AIM-9L and M respectively?

I can’t understand why these MiG-29s have R-27ER at all, especially export which couldn’t get this missile. Just give them historical loadouts of R-73 + R-27R.

This is not something currently planned within this update.

I sometimes wonder if you guys plan anything at all

What update is it planned for then? Because this is ridiculous.

and almost no feedback was listened too. Instead of decompressing the already terrible 12.0-13.3 region, you have massively increased compression and that is without correcting the BR for aircraft that already struggled with the existing compression, such as the Tornado IDSs at 12.3. I really really want to know how Gaijin thinks the Tornado IDS with 2x Aim-9M is only 0.3 worse than an F-15A with 4x Aim-9M and 4x Aim-7M (let alone the F-15J with 4x AAM-3)

Let alone the fact its been 2+ years since the decision was made to keep the 6 Tornado IDS at different battle ratings, with a statement saying that there would be a post explaining it further that never happened. We still have identical airframes at seperate BRs for no apparent reasons. Made especially worse with the pressence of the RET8 that is objectively better in several key regards also at 11.7 and now those 11.3 Tornados at 11.7 have to face F-15As in full uptiers

Excuse me Sir Smin, but with the F-16I Sufa going up to 13.0 in ground RB alongside the Gripen E, is there any chance it can be considered to finally get its 16x Spice-250 loadout it’s still missing?

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/8xuIvuXlfa84
(64 updoots as of now)

The Gripen E has this exact loadout at the same BR as of now, meaning there should be no balance issues to speak of as gaijin seems to see it, and it would bring them on par with one another. Just hoping it hasn’t been forgotten, with it finally going up there I had expected this change really and would be quite sad to see it without them. Whatever the case, again just hoping it hasn’t been forgotten or anything.

Why is naval feedback always skipped?

Yeah that too… Though the feedback is usually “please nerf the soviets” so of course it wont be listened too

Hey. This would not be connected to BR changes. But a separate consideration, likely for major updates.
