Seeing
we introduced new and innovative features, such as World War 1 aircraft and tanks
is really disheartening when you compare what we got:
vs what we could get.
There is enough new stuff that could be added from WW1 to be it’s own update. I really hope Gaijin doesn’t just ignore one of if not the most influential wars ever fought, one which quite literally changed the way wars were fought and introduced many ideas that are still present in today’s wars.

They will only add a couple more WW1 vehicles at most, maybe they’ll even repeat the event, but I can’t see them adding a bunch of worse-than-reserve vehicles

Infantry would be perfect for introducing WW1 tanks and planes.
Once infantry releases and we start getting suggestions for it I am planning on making one for WW1. Just got to see how the formatting and the rules for it will be, also to finish off my Russian and Italian WW1 air suggestions. (Also 2 for my current pending suggestions for German, French, and US WW1 aircraft to be approved).

If they do it right then they would be fine. But just throwing in a SPAD or Fokker into the current TT’s and matchmaking will obviously make them awful to play but add enough of them and give them appropriate BR’s then they would absolutely work.
Do you really expect them to rework the BR system to include lower than 1.0 ratings just so they can add WW1 vehicles that would have a smaller playerbase than naval does

Infantry got big potential, and I could honestly see a WW1 mode attracting even more people from outside WT, just look at BF1, that game is 10 years old and it still has a playerbase haha, I hope Gaijin manages the potential they have well.

There’s other ways they could be added. 0.0-0.7 BR was just one of 3 ideas I had for introducing them in my suggestion and was just the easiest one to represent the additions that could be added.
I mean… he isn’t really wrong. WW1 era stuff would be nowhere near as popular as WW2 is.
