The EAP was never meant to be armed, but as far as I know, the Su-47 wasn’t meant to be armed either.
The MiG 1.44 was a demonstrator, that is true, but the MiG 1.42 was supposed to be armed, as the 1.42 would be the production variant and there were prototypes for that.
So, if anything, the MiG 1.44/1.42 would be a more realistic addition than the Su-47, based on the Yak-141s case.
On top of that, the Su-47 never was considered to become a service aircraft, as they realised that the design was extremely flawed
Hes a turbo main lmao, joins a swedish air thread and immediately tries to change the focus to Russian air and starts trying to start fights lmao, hes a clown
I mean how hard the hellfire can pull G’s. 7g’s which is currently implemented in game, as a surface to air missile while not hit any plane in the sky. Aim9x is like 40g missile
oh yea
anyway, the Aussie/Brit Boxer one is the proto
so … the actual inducted variant can still come to the Brit TT (lmao)?
…
and also, Aussies trialed a bunch of stuffs for Project LAND 400 Phase 2 :
Flame has docs for aerodynamic heating for the ASRAAM and research papers showing that that level of aerodynamic heating would just be impossible without reaching Mach 4.5-5.0 or even higher. MBDA only ever started greater than Mach 3. (His post on it)
Typhoon is just an ASRAAM with a HEAT warhead instead of blast-frag
I mean yeah the overall CAS vs AA balance is better than it ever was. Only major exceptions are LDIRCM in general and Israel being cucked in terms of top tier AA.
Is it perfect? of course not, but it’s already much better than it has been most of the past years.
(Also when facing one I much prefer to face Kh38 compared to spice 250.)
As much as I like wheely bois, I’d rather have the AS21 Redback, as that is neither a LAV or a Boxer and would be entirely unique (until South Korea finds a home in WT)
(And it comes with ATGMs, unlike that Pars Alpha thing)
