I don’t play naval but this tree seems really big to me for a naval tree, that’s very legit on that criteria

Considering Russia, China and the USA now have access to either large quantity of F&F missiles (x16 on AH-64E) or high-yield F&F missiles (LMURs on Mi-28NM), all with DIRCM (making them impervious to other F&F ATGMs, IR missiles and even camera lock), any nation that is not an AH-64E user or China/Russia cannot possibly hope to fight them.
Camera lock not being possible means locking and hitting with the gun is impossible. The same goes with Hellfires or HOT/TOWs. Mistrals, Iglas and Stingers are simply unable to lock DIRCM helicopters as well.
It means that helicopters not equipped with DIRCM literally have no means whatsoever to destroy even a clueless DIRCM equipped helicopter.
So can Italy and France (not AH-64E users) expect additions to their top-tier helicopter lineup ?
France could get the Tiger Mk.III : France and Spain launch Tiger MkIII programme | Airbus
While no suggestion was made for this vehicle, the Devs are still free to add it into the game. It might not be in service, but the same goes for vehicles such as 2S38.
Tiger Mk.III shouldn’t have any DIRCM capabilities, but it would at least give France some capable F&F missiles (MMP) instead of the currently slow and low-yield, low amount, and quite frankly overall underwhelming Spike ER. It would also get Mistral 3.
Italy on the other hand would get DIRCM through the addition of AW249 : Leonardo upgrades AW249 Attack Helicopter with multi-missile integration and loitering munition capability
How… I won’t even question it at this point. This game runs on hopes and dreams.
