Is this an oversight that the LS6 bombs, also being GPS guided glide bombs, did not receive the new sprites?
Someone tell this guy that war thunder naval battles are fought in broad daylight where enemy acquisition is not a difficulty, and maps sometimes would make torpedo gameplays near impossible
In other times: “Sub is a deadly laser” and we fighting in a circle or spawn-to-spawn cough Japanese Port cough
I can safely say Sovetsky Soyuz is the most BS, dumbest part of this whole patch literally impenetrable to Jap 16"s even down to 8.4km with a SLIGHT angle.

Given the sheer amount we’ve had recently and if im not mistaken. All previous naval events bar 1 in the past 2 years have been BB/BCs. It would be nice get an interesting Frigate, Destroyer or Cruiser. But yeah, We dont need Japanese super torps

Wierdly… I dont think i’ve actually fought one yet. Been in a match with one, but despite all the talk of them being “stupidly OP” barely anyone is grinding it. Im just seeing masses of people grinding Bismark or Yamato or people in Bismark or Yamato. Fair chunk seem to be going for the Iowa as well.
Had a match earlier today where I took out 3x Yamashiros in rapid succession.

Every other new ship is absolutely killable and fairly balanced (especially within 10km they become paper weights) but with the way shells work now its a bit harder to kill most ships and has benefitted Soyuz a LOT considering its armor angle it makes it almos impenetrable to anything but the new guns
Another thing is cap points need to either be entirely removed from naval, coastal vessels need to be removed from bluewater or ticket drain needs to be severely reduced imo.
We’ve seen Japanese items that seem like they’ll be rewards for a naval event. Once again I’m saying it’ll be Kitakami to pair with the manned torpedo decoration.
At this rate wouldnt be suprised if it was Nagato.

I always thought that Bismarck would have come BEFORE the new 8.7s, and that H-39 would have come alongside these.
As far as I’ve seen, Bismarck is kinda dead on arrival. Apparently, the 8.7s just slice through her like wet paper, constantly detonating the ammo racks, while she struggles to penetrate them past 9 km.
That being said, I doubt H-39 would change much. The guns would have 100 mm more of pen, yes, but that’s it. There’s also the risk that they would lose the rate of fire advantage, and the armor would be the same, if not even worse.

At least those are 7.7 and 8.0… Bismarck is practically and functionally at the same BR as the 8.7s. :/
