i mean if they really mean controversial theres a few current conflicts to pick from lmao
also did they say controversial in what way? as in, politically or just that the timing to add said vehicles could be considered a bad idea (which, if even gaijin has that thought, god help us)
How are the new SAM systems introduced in Leviathans? Did they impact the top tier CAS environment in any meaningful way? I haven’t gotten the chance to unlock/play any after my 3 month hiatus but I’m trying to grind for the CLAWS
they killed off cas gameplay for people who have fewer neurons than average. thats about all that changed.
aside from making heli gameplay even less impactful
One of the community managers came out and said that Czechoslovakia is not a subtree for Russia nor that it is planned to be one.
Also if you don’t find F-35 and F-16 controversial in Russian tree, you probably don’t find occupation and invasion of Czechoslovakia either. Plus we use and used much more westernized stuff compared to eastern equipment. (And ofc extremely big amount domestic stuff)
Personally I really enjoyed the UK grind for air and ground, plenty of fun lineups and vehicles to use! Balance can be on both sides of the spectrum, let’s not hope there’ll be too much cope haha.
it could just be me but i still dont get it. i bet most of the current players werent even alive back then. besides, czech line being taken as an example, people could get a much stronger lineup if they accepted that warthunder is a game and not a reflection of politics
I did enjoy the UK stuff for the most part, just wished there were certain vehicles in each branch (not because I think the UK is weak, just because it will be cool).
Also another obligatory asking where is the Avro Manchester.
I mean there isnt a lot of space in the first place considering this is the USSR tree we are talking about, probably even less that the soviets could patch themselves.
The main issue for me is that if Czechoslovakia goes to the USSR, there’s a good chance we lose most of the indigenous vehicles like India. So when weighing up the options, Czechoslovakia being independent would bring the most vehicles over all, even more if Poland or Ukraine are given as subtrees.
