They had a news post for Armistice Day last year and for the Remembrance weekend in 2023. They’ve posted about it in 2016, but considering that WW1 isn’t really relevant for WT, it’s not very surprising that they don’t do actual events for it.
They have D-Day, VE-Day and VJ-Day events every year however and the V-E Day event always comes with a huge sale, cosmetics and one or more event vehicles.
If WWI is not relevant for WT, what an hokey player is doing here?
I don’t know either, I’m just letting you know that they do acknowledge Armistice Day and the Remembrance Weekend.
I really don’t understand why people think this is a deal killer. It really isn’t much of an issue when, first of all, age ratings do not stop kids from playing games. I’ve played Halo since I was, like, 10, and back then the series was rated M. So long as it isn’t AO or similar, it’s unlikely to matter, especially when Fortnite, which is explicitly targeted towards kids has the same age rating, and rather explicitly features peoples killing peoples. And, If they are that concerned with their age rating, there are ways around it that can allow them to implement FPS infantry without raising the age rating.
The 12+ age rating allows Gaijin to do a lot more advertising for WT. They wouldn’t be able to do nearly as much advertising if the game was 18+.
Fortnite does not feature blood, gore, realistic weapons or excessive violence. Similar to WT the characters in Fortnite also do not die.
On top of that Fortnite uses a cartoon style to have it be less realistic, which helps keeping the age rating down.
There aren’t when the game is as realistic as WT.
He was playing for the Russian team in the world championships as late as 2015.
Yeah didnt know that. In footbal (soccer) some players with two citizenships play for the soccer team in which their non national team is
Well he isn’t a US citizen.
And WT, rather explicitly, bills itself as a ‘realistic’ vehicle combat game, and already has infantry in the game, not just in the odd event, but also in the single player missions, which would affect the rating.
As for violence, the simple answer is to not use blood, gore, etc and say that people get ‘knocked out’ instead of killed. Basically, what they already do.
That only holds water if you ignore the infantry in the SP missions, those in the events, and the numerous vehicles in the game that feature crew present on the vehicle, where they get ‘knocked out’ from a shell the size of their head smashing into said head at supersonic speed.
So, you think Enlisted could get the same age rating as Fortnite just by getting rid of the blood and the gore and claiming that infantry doesn’t die, but rather get knocked out?
Why am I even trying to argue with you anymore, you apparently are the expert and know better than the rest of us.

I am pretty sure the AIM-54C (and the ECCM variant) would have the same max overload of 17Gs as the AIM-54A and B. These missiles are limited in their maneuverability in WT because bank-to-turn is not a thing in WT.
We both know that we won’t be getting modeled RIOs anytime soon lol
It does however stop Gaijin from marketing to these kids.
Just look up the descriptions of the pegi 12 and pegi 16 online. If you seriously think WT fps infantry and fortnite fit in the same description you are funny.
Honestly? Probably could so long as the language is clean.
Like, as said before, War Thunder already has Infantry and what not in the game, even if locked behind SP missions and events, and it has a Pegi 12 rating. I genuinely don’t see why Enlisted wouldn’t get the same rating if they did it the same way WT does. If the setting/premise was an issue, WT would have had a higher rating then it does now on the outset.
EDIT:
No, but if we are going by what I think and how I interpret the Wikipedia description, I also wouldn’t put War Thunder as it is now in Pegi 12 either.
As it stands, you can commit realistic violence against human-like characters. You have the current April Fools event, the infantry present in the single player missions, and you have the crew themselves, who are very much modeled, and are very much human-like. Ergo, that tells me that either Pegi sees War Thunder as being fantastical enough where realistic violence isn’t enough to increase the age rating, or that the violence inflicted on the human-like characters is not realistic enough to cause a rise in the age rating.
In either case, I don’t see why they couldn’t do FPS infantry at a PEGI 12 rating following the same logic. So long as you don’t have blood, gore, and naughty words, it should be fine.
Bro there a suggestion page
All of them should get 25G overload until they add bank to turn (as that was the main way the missile functioned in terminal guidance mode)
Yeah, I feel sorry for the Typhoon, he cant out turn you :P
This isn’t a suggestion. Sure, some of the changes should be actioned upon, but this is a concept for the next major update, which is what this topic is mostly about.
Yeah somehow I doubt the US will get another top tier aircraft only just having three in the previous while other nations got jack in the last update
No? This thread is for news, leaks, & over analysing anything that could give a hint about the next update,
