For me i simply wish to have the 3 main family of the Rafale, they all have their little tastes, even if it’s just visually, and all could come as earlier variant, same variant, or advanced variant vs the one we already have.
Don’t see the problem to add more of them, sure not 10, but at least 1 or 2 of each.
Then perhaps the F5 alongside drone operation as it seems to be one of the focus of it’s development (alongside more than 20% of engine trust) but i guess it’s too soon to talk about that
…and if Gaijin had added Rafale F1 first, then people would be raging that “they got a bad variant when they should have added a better one instead”, just like it happened with the Finnish F-18.
Have you not seen the extreme rage there’s been over the Finnish F-18?
Same thing happened when Sweden got JAS-39A. Absolute rage. They demanded to get JAS-39C directly.
People saying that “Gaijin hates (X) nation because they added “dead on arrival” planes instead of the better ones”, and claiming that “such planes are only speed bumps getting in the way of future additions”…
But now suddenly the problem is that we aren’t getting enough worse earlier variants and that we are getting better ones right away?
If Gaijin adds more earlier variants, Gaijin bad.
If Gaijin skips redundant variants, Gaijin bad.
Apparently there always needs to be some sort of problem with Gaijin no matter what they do. And this coming from me is a lot.

Yeah, fair. I still think it is weird that they went straight to the FGR.4 and the Tranche 2 Block 10 (well, would have to be Block 15, but Gaijin loves fantasy configurations), but I guess the CAS arms-race had to continue…
My issue with gaijin is their progression logic…like why did they add Hornets last update and not waaay before…why havent they added a single varient of F-2 before or alongside the AESA capable Rafale…and so on…like i still remember the jump from F-100 and Mig-21 to T-2 in one update…
As for content quantity personally i don’t care if X nation gets multiple additions thats fine…my issue is when you have other nations in need of additions but are completely left out or said additions are added waaay to late coughF-2cough

Personally yes, it was the case before, yes.
For long years USA leaded the META with Russia.
Now it’s more fair for everybody, and modern European stuff can really stand their ground and not just be food for US/RU.
But i don’t see anybody saying right now that all planes are worst than US ones.
That happened because Gaijin also added the Gripen C to Britain and later on even to Italy, while giving Sweden a fantasy Gripen A.
There wouldn’t have been problems if either Sweden got the Gripen A and nobody else got the Gripen or if everyone got the Gripen C from the start, even if it had to be in a nerfed state.
Same goes for the Finnish F-18C. Why give one nation a worse version if both the US and Sweden could get basically the same version?

I didn’t see people complain about the F-18C… And tbh we shouldn’t pay attention to these people, it makes absolutely no sense to hurry to add modern stuff before we’re done with the old stuff, and it’s a good part of the balance problems that the game is currently facing. There would be much less balance issues if the Rafale F3 had not been thrown prematurely into the game
The F1 belonged way better
Yes, and I found the JAS-39A and Finnish F-18C complaints reasonable; just like I found perfectly reasonable that U.S players got angry when, initially, their F-15E was significantly worse than Israel’s…
Yet I kept seeing hate against U.S players for this, calling them “entitled”, “spoiled”, “brats”, and when Gaijin gave them the same engines, saying that “crybabies got what they wanted”.
This is what I mean. There’s an unreasonable targeting against the U.S tree and its players that is just unfair. Every time I set foot on the Forums, on any thread, there’s always something going on against the U.S, it’s just tiring.
I came in to this thread today, and the first thing I came across was complaints that nations with less options weren’t gettng as many vehicles as the U.S.

@gszabi99 sry for the tag, but i am a bit confuzed.
- all HE and HEAT: explosive type to shrapnel parameters: charge to mass ratio: 30 → 18%
Is there a “%” missing behind 30?
Or was 30 a fixed number?
What does it mean? I dont understand it at all.
Or in general, can someone explain to me?
That’s what happen when Gaijin favor a nation for long years, and suddently they give them the same treatment other have got for years, when you see thoses people complaining (when they always mocked the other to complain) because they just start to feel what it is to not be the most gifted one, sure it don’t help to feel sad for them.
So it was 30% now is 18%? So a general nerf to all HE and HEAT rounds?
Anyway… whether it’s U.S, Russia, France or whatever, there’s only one thing clear…
Air top tier has been pampered for long enough xD.
It’s time for Ground top tier to get something!
Starting with the highly needed new SAM systems to deal with the OP C*S plaguing the mode, and followed up by more and actual 2A7/122 counterparts- both via new additions and via long overdue bugs that should have been fixed years ago but have been ignored to this day.

Well, I can’t speak for everyone here, but I hate the preferred treatment of the US tree just as much as the preferred treatment of the USSR tree. The main reason people complain more about the US currently is because the USSR tree hasn’t been getting as much attention lately.
There definitely was an uproar about the R-77-1, but that died down quickly when people realised that it’s just a R-77 with extra range.
There also were and still are plenty of complaints about the USSR trees’ privilege of being allowed to have by far the most powerful SPAA (Pantsir) AND Air to Ground missiles (Kh-38MT), while the rest of the world gets nerfed weapons or nothing even remotely similar at all.
Bruh, as if HEAT rounds werent already unreliable enove.
I can’t agree more, there is horrible gap there with LOT of choices IRL…
While thoses ~3 last years Gaijin did really cool work on French top air, their work on top ground is really bad, and i’m polite here.

Yep. When I talk about ground love, I’m not just talking about the dozens of potential additions left (sidegrades and minimal upgrades are fine, since we got lineups here); I am also talking about fixes.
At this point, fixed Leclercs, Merkavas, Type 10s, etc, would feel like entirely new vehicles altogether.
But they just don’t care. Several bug reports with literal photographs of Challenger 2’s LFP spall liners, “accepted”, still have done nothing about it.

There’s a gap for SAMs/SPAAs, but in terms of MBTs there definitely is no gap
Fixed Leclerc would put them at 15.0 at this point xD
