There are always other balancing methods other than what needs to be historical. BR placements, reloads, etc. The CR2 used to have its only selling point being a 5s reload, now that 120 abrams, merkava mk4 and production series ariete all has a 5s reload with 9 rounds ready(merkava) up onto a whopping 16 ready(ariete) compared to the challies 4. There are also claims that its thermals were made gen1, but I havent got into a situation where gen1 vs gen2 will make an actual difference to make a comment on that.

No, it’s definitely not. France has an Austrian tank but that doesn’t mean it has an Austrian subtree, just that there was a strong enough connection.

When vijayanta was added india wasnt a British subtree though no? There’s no reason for a Jordanian sub so I doubt they’ll make it a sub for UK (and they shouldn’t)
