Aside from MiG-25/31, Su-30, F/A-18, Gripen E and the actual 5th gens I’m running out of new top tier jets to speculate about unless someone believes prototypes like the Su-47 are on the table.
between the Rafale M, MiG-29K, F/A-18, and J-15 which carrier jet do y’all expect to be added the soonest?

Why would Gripen E be added? It literally makes no sense to add, especially since its lacking the main strength the gripens focus on which is EW

Doesn’t it get 2 extra missiles? Why would they not include it just because EW isn’t implemented? If and when they add EW they can retroactively implement it on the Gripen like they’ll have to do with many aircraft

Luxembourg’s navy is too OP to be added to the game at the moment. No nation would compete.

Its bigger than the C, new engine, new radar, more CM’s the biggest thing would be that it brings the gripens thrust to weight from .97 to over 1, idr how much but it would help, considering it cant turnfight any other fighter aside from a Su having it be faster for climbing would be the main focus. Regardless why add it if it won’t be much better than a MS20, id rather they try to prolong the tree before outright killing it. Again gaijin should’ve added proper MS18 gripens when the C came out.
When EFT came out they should’ve added MS20 for the new radar and ground strike ordinance or the NG with MAWs, im still waiting on the gripens to get their voice warning system.
When we get to IRIS-T and Meteor they can add them to the MS20, Britain can then have the most unique gripen as they will only have IRIS-T since they don’t use any other missile on the Gripens in service.
Realistically if Gaijin adds the Gripen E then what ends up happening is they either ignore the tree aside from the F18 or they start adding trial vehicles, so EFT, Rafale, ect nobody wants that, but thats what will probably happen if gaijin wants people to keep playing the tree
I know its too late and all that, but I do wonder what the reason was for adding the L23 instead of keeping it at the L15a5 and potentially adding the HEAT-FS prototype ammunition (even if gaijin have to fluff it a little) and going for a lower br? Especially given its a prototype tank.
I assume the main reason its BR will be high is due to the APFSDS round. I was kind of hoping for a long time if it came, it would use the ammunition developed within its “scope” so to speak and would make a wonderful and interesting design for the 9.0/3 bracket where it would be truly unique and not overshadowed by the “fleet of challenger tanks” around it (and wouldnt require uptiering the rest of your lineup/uptiering the tank into challenger land to have a lineup). Afterall, the UK would have arguably nothing like it at 9.0/3 BR range with the closest being what, Olifant Mk2? I am also surprised it didnt get the premium chieftain treatment of limited munition types added as deemed required.
TBH I can see the tank being hyped in the short term but then just abandoned at its current level.
I guess I can hope for some of the other Cehftain armour upgrade models for something unique so long as they dont get giga rounds too xD.

Forgive me if I’m reading that wrong but didn’t you just list a whole bunch of reasons to add it now, alongside the now 8 missiles it can carry bringing it up to par with top tier
Like I said EW is a ways off and will require a whole bunch of retroactive additions to aircraft and new missiles can be added as introduced so theres really no reason to wait to add it, aside from prolonging the domestic Swedish air tree, but do you really want to wait til F-22s and SU-57s before getting the Gripen E
Again why add it now when that just means then tree ends it would be better to get our other Gripens. I don’t expect you to care for why i want them. Regardless we add the E now what happens? Do we just have a hige gap in performance? Additionally you’ll have to find evidence that the Gripen E for sweden has used AIM 120, its why they haven’t added them to the SAAF gripen. The A darter is the closest relative to the R darter and SAAB states that they can use it.
So how about you explain how gaijin should fill the TT. As stated by Smin all gripens C’s are denoted as just C, MS isn’t something the devs are going to consider. So if they add Meteor and IRIS-T what goes to fill the gap? They will be way better than the missiles we currently have so bigger than 1.0 jump, and MS18 has carried C5’s so do we just have a 2.0 or more hole in the TT? Do we just get two gripens and call it a day for the TT? Honestly i dint care about the Gripen E considering it will probably be Gimped and given to Italy or the US, i dont really care, id rather see the NG before we see the E.
You clearly have never seen the size and scope of Mongolia’s navy. All 7 men are ferocious fighters, one of them even knows how to swim!

They aren’t related at all, the R-darter was tested on the Gripen during trials.

You’ve contradicted yourself there, as has been stated before the only requirement for a weapon to be added is that it is compatible with the aircraft, if the SAAF Gripen can use the R-Darter then the Gripen E can use AIM-120 just because they never did doesn’t mean it isn’t capable.
Another self contradiction, if Gripens are only separated by letter designation then the only Gripen left is the E as we already have the C, unless you want a C early and C late which would also be fine, but that requires new weapons first whereas the E could be added now and as it is updated the C late could be added to fill the gap between
