Rafale F3-R weapon configuration

The Rafale F3-R in the game has an incorrect weapon configuration and does not conform to actual technical and historical specifications.

Unjustified presence of Magic 2 missiles

Magic 2 missiles were used on prototypes and first versions of the Rafale, such as the Rafale M1 etc.
No historical or technical evidence demonstrates that the operational F3-R version could carry these missiles.

In addition, the wing rails of the Rafale F3-R require specific modifications to be compatible with the Magic 2, which has never been documented for this version.

Conclusion: These missiles should be removed from the Rafale F3-R configuration, because their presence is historically and technically unjustifiable especially given the fact that gaijin does not add 2 additional MICA for reasons of version or model of the aircraft which does not exactly match the F3-R…

Reduced capacity for MICA missiles

The Rafale F3-R is designed to carry up to 8 MICA IR/EM missiles (6 in standard configuration + 2 additional).

Currently, the game limits this capability to only 6 missiles, which does not reflect the aircraft’s real-world performance.

Evidence from technical documents and trusted sources has been provided by the community to demonstrate that this capability is realistic.

Conclusion: The possibility of carrying the 2 additional MICA should perhaps be implemented in the game to correct this limitation but why doesn’t Gaijin do it?

Specific requests

Why were the Magic 2s added to the Rafale F3-R without credible technical or historical justification?

Why are the 2 additional MICA missiles refused when concrete evidence supports their integration?

Can we have a correct and detailed response from Gaijin and the bug report maintainer or moderator?

Honestly sorry for the post but the Bug Reporting Managers are unable to give a detailed answer as to how the Rafale has Magic2 and but no additional MICA while the 2 are technically possible but not used except for the 8 MICA

Hello

Evidence was provided that the Rafale family was indeed compatible with Magic 2. Due to the lack of any other IR missiles being possible within the game currently to add to Rafale, we agreed with these requests and added these in due to it being technically possible on the aircraft. There is so far no evidence to suggest this capability was removed with the Rafale C F3.

Sadly there has not been reliable information to suggest 8 MICA-EMs is possible outside of the F.4+ versions of Rafale. Current primary information shows this was added in after the C F3 / F3-R. However we welcome any additional reports to show solid evidence of this being possible.

We are also continuing to investigate this possibility for any clear evidence, so we can bring it under further consideration if it indeed is possible on our variant and do not rule out adding it, if it turns out to be.
