Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion

Oh, you’re about your scout thing, I thought you’re about buddy lasing

As for your Idea with scouting, I think they will just be too lazy to do that, even tho it’s not hard to implement

4 targets and 2 per target from last I read up on it.

I kinda meant both, new mechanic really opens up doors imo

Yeah, would need some changes to ground first.

But, I do think if they added drones to air sim, make them much cheaper than jets, I think buddy lasing would be an interesting possibility

More modern ones seem to do 4 targets, 4 missiles, I can’t see anything about 2 per target though

It’s just the S1 in game though right?

They’re really begging for a HARM in that first image huh

I talking IRL capabilities in game I know Gaijin said it can engage 4 targets at once not sure about 2 per target though.

I think their problem will be ground vehicles, biting this giraffe neck

I think doctrine is 2 missiles per target, but only for 2 targets

It looks like the S1 can only do 2 targets max though, it was with the S1M that it could now engage 4

And it was 3 radar, 1 EO target engaged, that’s what had me confused I think

Imagine seeing that thing rise over the treeline, and everybody on your team fires on it

Easy to create in mind, not surprising at all, I think this will be pain in ass for those new SPAAs

Yeah, they’re practically begging to get destroyed lol

They of course can try to add Buk-M3 without all these things… with just its own fixed array, but we all know what would happen to a SPAA without good search radar

I’ll have to brush back up on it. Been a while since I researched it maybe I am confusing it with the S1M.

From what I’ve read the original could engage 1 target each with its radar antenna and EO system, then for the M they added two extra antennae for a total of 4 targets engaged

Just read this post:

Seems like we haven’t met the F-22 talk quotas there…

Agreed

F-22 vs bug fixed EFT and rafale?
