You know what Australians would like even more than an MBT shell(at least the ones I talk to)? Learning that they have a home in a single TT, rather than being split apart.
But despite this being the thing Aussie(ANZAC) & Canadian players want the most we are an afterthought(And I mean it, we are the last group of people thought about, despite being the operator nation) with additions with our own flags.
I know it’s a model and all but it seems rather deliberate to modify it and include it no? It’s not like the original tanker model would have made the video vastly different.
Its a real shame the hunter is a bit of an abandoned airframe by the devs. A lot of cool variants left to be added and the ones we have are all in a pretty poor state.
I wonder why the Singaporean Hunter would end up though.
I think it would be better off in the Japanese tree at around 10.0-10.3 (probably 10.3). Japan can’t really fill that gap domestically.
Britain can easily fix their 9.7-10.7 gap with all the Hawks and such. If they really need an upgraded Hunter so bad they can have the Omani one, which IIRC should be the same as the Swiss one.
Basically, KE-W A2 is slightly worse than M829A2 to the same degree that KE-W is slightly worse than M829A1.
That’s why I can’t wrap my head around M1A1 AIM “needing” to be castrated by being limited to KE-W instead of getting its historical KE-W A2, while M1A1 HC and M1A2 sit at the exact same BR with M829A2, which is better than KE-W A2…
Another FAILURE of blind statistic-based balancing. Either that, or Gaijin just doesn’t want to “waste” time modelling a new shell.
Yeah, Britain has enough options for more Hunters, Singapore could make a Japanese subtree eventually, though there are lots of other options for Japan, I could very well see a Singaporean Hunter going to either Japan or Britain
