Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

no KE-W A1 is DM43

And when did I say KEW-A1?

I am talking about KE-W and KE-W A2 all the time. KEW-A1 is a completely different shell that has got nothing to do with M1A1 AIM! (Even though designation formats are inconsistent, which may lead to confusion).

In War Thunder, M1A1 AIM is artificially nerfed by being limited to an unhistorical KE-W ammo choice it never used, while it should be using KE-W A2, which is the shell it uses in real life and which is still worse than M829A2.

Yeah but in game we don’t have KE-W A1

And the M1A1 AIM doesn’t have KE-W A2

Seem like that’s not that hard to understand

So what does it have

the KE-W it has is not KE-W A1

So it must be KE-W A2

So bug report the round

https://community.gaijin.net/issues/p/warthunder/i/Elbjvv2tjRYq

KE-W is tungsten M829A1.
KE-W A2 is tungsten M829A2.

KEW-A1 is DM43, yes, but this round has got nothing to do with this issue, so I don’t know why it was brought up at all xD.

M1A1 AIM ingame has KE-W.
But it should have KE-W A2.

I get that the designations are a bit confusing, but… KE-W not being KEW-A1 does not mean that “ME-W is therefore KE-W A2”…

You know what Australians would like even more than an MBT shell(at least the ones I talk to)? Learning that they have a home in a single TT, rather than being split apart.

But despite this being the thing Aussie(ANZAC) & Canadian players want the most we are an afterthought(And I mean it, we are the last group of people thought about, despite being the operator nation) with additions with our own flags.

I know it’s a model and all but it seems rather deliberate to modify it and include it no? It’s not like the original tanker model would have made the video vastly different.

Maybe I’m just coping for a Singaporean Hunter…

Prolly to replicate this rather.

I doubt it

That makes more sense

Still give me my Hunter!

Its a real shame the hunter is a bit of an abandoned airframe by the devs. A lot of cool variants left to be added and the ones we have are all in a pretty poor state.

I wonder why the Singaporean Hunter would end up though.

619 out of an L/44 right?

It’s slightly worse in every way

I think it would be better off in the Japanese tree at around 10.0-10.3 (probably 10.3). Japan can’t really fill that gap domestically.

Britain can easily fix their 9.7-10.7 gap with all the Hawks and such. If they really need an upgraded Hunter so bad they can have the Omani one, which IIRC should be the same as the Swiss one.
