Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 1)

Not like it would make a difference with the current ground RB map sizes. The speed is probably more important there, which IIRC was still below Mach for the Taurus. I could be wrong tho

Mach 0.95 afaik

as long as the GPS designation system in game stays the same the range is limited to the range of your designator pod which barely exceeds 20km

Why bro, just do a square orbit around the entire Denmark map first. 4x 128km.

model it like the blue shell from Mario kart

I mentioned it earlier in the discussion

The NL was the 2nd graph it just wasn’t labeled :/

Yeah the people around that region statistically know the most languages on average, so pretty cool

Except they are all the same (afaik), so i don’t really see the point to give more than the French one.

I don’t think that Taurus and Stormshadow/SCALP EG have something to do ingame (but would be nice to have them).

Something that could be slightly more usefull (but hard to use) and i would like it is the BAP100

As I’ve said, the game needs proper targets for that kind of weapon to really make sense.

A new, more complex EC mode would be ideal as it would allow multiple kinds of new weapons and mechanics to be implemented (HARMs, stand-off weapons, earthquake bombs, bouncing bombs, etc. All the fun stuff that wouldn’t make sense to have in ground battles and regular ARB)

Gaijin should really made EC mode a constant one available for everybody (air and navy at least) and use that for developing more target/gamemode.

Well… Barham’s grind was a waste of time.

Just 28 GJCs on the Marketplace.

I have no idea how Mississippi is 70+ while Barham dropped from 60+ to barelt 30, just like happened with Renown…

I guess people have no interest on the British tree, while the American one is overrated because of the general expectation that “since it’s U.S, it will be good”.

I hope the next event vehicle is more successful on the Marketplace xd.

Well it’s German and it was advertised by Gaijin, they usually don’t do that, so i guess it’s gonna be successfull…

If it’s Boxer, it won’t be any more successful than Vilkas was, AKA on the 30 range too. Specially since we also have PUMA VJTF as well now.

Regarding Barham, I’ll just hold it for now… I mean, it’s 25 right now, it can possibly go any lower… so won’t be losing much even if it doesn’t go up before the Sales.

if it’s a German Boxer then there are 3.5 possible versions

Puma Boxer → Boxer with Puma VJTF turret

Schwerer Waffenträger Infanterie → Boxer with Lance turret/CRV

Skyranger 30 turret

and RCH 155 turret but that one hasn’t been formerly ordered iirc so I don’t know if it’s an option

Skyranger would be quite the shame if they add it as an event, the other 2 would be identical to the vilkas play style wise so I don’t see why they would add that

the only option I see that makes sense and wouldn’t take sth critical from the tt is a Skyranger 35 prototype with a 30 coming to the TT

also apparently there is a prototype skyranger with IRIS-T SLM so I guess that could be added too

Do we think that next update more nations will receive gliding munitions such as the JDAM-ER, SPICE bombs, and gliding variations of the FAB-500?

I don’t know

it’s certainly possible but it doesn’t seem like they put much emphasis on them as they were kinda just a sidenote on a squad plane

btw. do the FABs have some sort of guidance?

South American and Southern Asian ground vehicles maybe? It may be few people’s question but considering the current moment is probably to see Benelux ground instead of one of these two. But hope we see one of them in some way in the future.

besides BeNeLux ground I don’t see much of a good guess that could come next update

may just be a regular one that adds not too much interesting stuff and maybe a new mechanic as it’s a small one
