INB4 this comment gets flagged because they are predictable lol
I want the T84 for Japan 🙃
Nah Woe not bothered about that lol
I mean… they could add both… nothings stopping them?
I know there is not a safe place for Ukraine, so both are doable.
Most of the heavier soviet AShMs meant for popping carriers will be fairly deadly or a significant pain to most captital ships they could add.
Things like the P-5/6/P-35 were intended to be nuclear capable, so they have a pretty big space for conventional space if there are no nukes in the warhead. They are also easier to hit compared to the termits with their supersonic speed, which is kinda scary.
Edit: on the other hand, war thunder boats do have the AA accuracy that their IRL counterparts can only dream of, even without the player manning them. Wouldnt be surprised if the earlier missile could be intercepted just by shear gunnery of some of the more experienced crew/player.
Totally locked down a bravy in the HMS Tiger by showering it in 3inch HE-VT :D
I think the earlier stages of missile combat in naval is just slamming SAM at each other, the bravy being an example. There could be a handful of standard or terrier armed ships for US, Japan and Germany, county-class for Britain, and perhaps dedicated DDG for the soviets. The most interesting addition might be the giuseppe garibaldi, the WW2 cruiser refitted with a lot of OTO-Melera guns and terrier missiles(and nukes, lol).
Thats a formidable machine. You reminded me, I did plan to sell the object 292 to get it.
Its fun, but a bit wierd. Probably should be 5.3, would be fine at 5.7 if the guns didnt have really bad accuracy.
We don’t have the Cockerill 3105 turret in game.
For the 105mm Cockerill turrets only the Cockerill CT-CV 105mm and the Cockerill XC-8 are in-game.
Cockerill websites for each turret:
The Cockerill CT-CV (TM) Weapon System (advanced 105mm) successfully demonstrated its gun launched missile capability - John Cockerill
Eurosatory: CMI Defence and BAE Systems Hägglunds present the CV90105 - John Cockerill
Cockerill® modular turret 3105 : Defense - John Cockerill
We have similar Cockerill turrets atm but this is a new one, so it’s not total copy-paste. Though I suspect if we do see this as the next event vehicle the turret will probably get reused for the Belgium Leopard 1 prototype from Eurosatory, which was leaked iirc.
edit: I just saw now that @Thomas_Belgium responded with basically the same thing .
cool alternative to m36?
Left out NL!
But i said “some French”, was referring to basically everyone in that region being able to form a few French sentences atleast. I know so myself growing up in NL and even with French being my worst subject in high school 20 years ago I can still do this.
i just realized one thing
with the introduction of BeNeLux, the tree may be able to host 2 to 3 Ebrc jaguar
1 for france
1 for belgium, starting 2025
1 for luxemburg in a more distant future
One of the few times i wouldn’t be mad at gaijin regarding copy pasting, as having 2-3 of these pesky buggers in one line up seems like a lot of fun
ASSTA 2 would add a new cockpit with MFDs and ASSTA 3 the software to use JDAMs
thus it was suggested to add ASSTA 3 with AiM-9Li-1 and JDAMs as the other signature weapons of the German Tornados don’t seem to be planned rn
even tho the mechanics to add a Taurus for example would be in game now
Well, why would something like the Taurus be planned anyways? They are anti fortification cruise missiles.
well we got GPS guided Anti fortification glide bombs last update
Taurus is that but powered and with a SAP warhead
together with a Map based GPS designation system for GPS ordenance this would give JF-17 and the Tornados the capability to bomb bases from further near their own base
in addition to that a mechanic could be added that would give RP and SL for Intercepting flying ordenance such as Taurus would add a new level of complexity in gameplay for all gamemodes that include aircraft
