I did answer correctly. The air-to-air weaponry is the same for the F-16 model we would get. I have not given out false info.
Maybe you need to read the question you answered again: “Could be the Thai F-16 to give more CAS options for Japan at top tier?”
That can be good ,but I don’t think gaijin would be so generous.
We’ll have to wait and see, but I can dream
If it gets AIM-9Ms that’d be a significant improvement over the AJ. Actually at that point the only reason to use the AJ would be for slightly better flight performance.
Don’t forget all the other jets Thailand could get, like the A-7E, AV-8S, and Gripen
The Gripen has my attention but, I’m not sure how or where it’d fit given the priority I’d say is with the F-15J MSIP and F-2 early (or XF-2A at the very least). Maybe it’ll slip in after the June update (the whole Thai sub-tree) when Sweden gets their Gripen Cs too.
I don’t have the list of AIM-9 operators in front of me right now, but using Wikipedia as the source, Thailand didn’t use the 9M. Instead buying Python. So take that as you will.
To be fair, Japan never used AIM-9Ms either yet they gave it to the F-15J, so who knows.
It was leaked 4 years agoo maaan
As we found out with AIM-120B, maybe Japan tested the 9M as well? I never thought about it before but that is strange Gaijin did that.
Maybe? The AAM-3 was the successor to the AIM-9L so, I’d imagine they just skipped the 9M. Regardless, at the end of the day, as long as it was capable, it’s up to Gaijin.
Can you show?
I guess. Kind of funny in a way. People make a big deal about the Yak-141 but Gaijin is just giving AIM-9Ms out like candy.
Just because it’s Russian lol.
I rarely see that plane at all anymore.
Weirdly early though, but I suppose they don’t really count on a lot of non RU speakers. I still watch it to see the vehicles despite not understanding anything lol
It’s in the trailer, apache hmd looks left and the target blows up, presumable from someone else shooting it. Could be just cinematics. Dunno
2 hour stream? Noice
